I don't typically get this conspiratorial but Trump has jettisoned all credibility as far as I'm concerned. He's an egoist in the extreme, and everybody knows that.

I've seen enough of his tweets and speeches to discern how warped his mind is.

Sure, he's got a great ego, but so did BHO, and so did many (likely most or possibly all) former presidents. He's just more open about it. Did you watch some of BHO's news conferences, and see how he reacted at the slightest hint of him doing anything wrong by the way a question was asked?

I want to make a serious suggestion to you, which of course you should have no qualms about ignoring. I suggest you don't take what he says or tweets seriously, but take him seriously. That's another way of saying watch what he does, not what he says. I think you'll see that his actions and his words certainly do not always come at us in sync.

BHO’s alleged ego, whatever it was, wasn’t quite like this. He may have cringed at press conferences but he didn’t take to Twitter at all hours with his every petty grievance.

That seems to be the case. The recent attack on the US embassy in Iraq is a prime example.
