Quid pro quo... then bribery... now intimidation. It changes from day to day. Like Slim, I also want to see if you get an answer.

I am going to need sometime to wade through all that evidence. If only all your thoughts were debunked talking points by politicians on AG Barr's investigation to actual obstruction of justice. That would save me all this time needed to go through all your evidence.

You misunderstood my point. It's all bullshit.

What I think is fair to say is that we do not know the results of AG Barr's investigation, so we need to wait and see if the left really did some shit or not.

With that being said, you have to be really daft to think this impeachment inquiry is going smooth for Dems. First questions at the witnesses should have been enough to just stop wasting our time:

"did you witness a crime?"
"no"
"Are you aware of a specific quid pro quo committed by the president?"
"no"
Adam Schiff: "The floor suspends the current time for cross examination.."

Why are we still going on with this when these are the answers we are getting?

Intimidation may be new but... quid pro quo... then bribery..?
Isn't bribery quid pro quo? 🤔

No. I think there's a difference.

I'd like to hear the WH or Trump himself explain why exactly the aid was withheld and then released.. with no explanation the timeline looks like attempted bribery.

Bribery is defined by Black's Law Dictionary as the offering, giving, receiving, or soliciting of any item of value to influence the actions of an official or other person in charge of a public or legal duty.

Supposedly the Unkraines did not know the aid was withheld. How can it be bribery when they didn't know the aid was being withheld?

We could pretend this^ article is fake news or that I never posted it and just think about it abstractly.......what kind of f***ing ballers do you think Ukrainians are to not notice that they had not received hundreds of millions of dollars??? it seems cuckoo to believe that..even for a deranged liberal like me.
5 ups, 5y,

Except even high ranking officials and the President of Ukraine have testified that they were unaware. You do know that aid is not like a welfare check that you get at the sametime every month, right? Aid is given as it is approved by the executive branch, not at some specific time, so yes, Ukraine didn't know. Next question, please.

Nope, I'm with you on this one. So far, they're upset that Trump followed a treaty we have with Ukraine to investigate crimes, set foreign policy, and exercise his authority to select ambassadors.
5 ups, 5y,

The President determines how foreign policy is conducted - it is entirely within the powers granted him in the constitution. If he wants to use Giuliani as an errand boy - that's kind of demeaning to Rudy, but it's entirely within his power.

We'll see soon. If Nancy is dumb enough to bring this to a vote, the Democrats can be 100% responsible for the disaster that happens (to them) afterwards (because no Republican will vote to impeach).

If you want Trump 2020 - keep rooting for this nonsense.
4 ups, 5y
they really don't understand that they're the ones insuring his reelection. it's not that people love trump as much as it is people don't like how the dems are acting.

Trump was asked by the Inspector a General to provide documentation on the phone call described by the whistleblower complaint. He HAS to comply with that request. He failed to do so. That's obstruction of justice. That is THE crime that is impeachable.

These laws are in place to keep the White House accountable and Trump continues not to comply.

Those are the facts and if you persist in ignoring them, that's on you.
9 ups, 5y,

What are you talking about? He released the transcript of the call the next day.
1 up, 5y
He thinks if the evidence of Trump's guilt doesn't exist it must be because Trump failed to keep proper records, overlooking the possibility that nothing existed to be recorded in the first place and that Trump doesn';t personally make such documents.

To this day, we do not have a copy of the actual transcript that the White House is supposed to have. It even has "this is not an official transcript" on the document they released.

And that. Is. Already. Really. Bad. Right. There.

What is THE actual transcript? Have you read how the transcript is created? It is not recorded and it is not verbatim. It is memorialized based on notes and recollections of multiple people on the call. Note takers may sometimes hear something that is garbled or couldn't be picked up by voice recognition and have to put inaudible at times. It has been done that way through past administrations. IMO, Trump should have never released the transcript at all due to the fact that it may sow distrust with foreign leaders who may feel like they have to limit what they say on a phone call which can hurt coordination with friends and allies. The President also has Executive Privilege on what materials he will/wont release and whether he will/wont appear based on a subpoena. However, Congress can take it to the Supreme Court to try to get him to comply. But that is assuming there is truly some other "actual transcript" that exists.
1 up, 5y
Don't listen to them you have a point. Though he still probably should have released it anyway.

The snowflakes on this thread are hilarious.

The question posed is, "What crime did Trump commit that people want him impeached". Every time someone attempts to answer this question with compelling information, that information gets thumbs down and hidden and that person gets labeled a Dem Bot or Russian.

Obviously, this isn't a question anyone on the right wants answered.

This is quid pro quo because the terms of the agreement clearly highlight the fact that Ukraine corruption was not the primary concern of the Trump administration.

The terms of the agreement were to, "make a public announcement of an investigation into Barisma and Biden".

This is ALL Trump wanted. He didn't care WHAT the outcome was. He just wanted a public announcement to discredit the Meuller report and the son of the man he feels is his primary political rival.

BOTH issues, personal payback for a 400 million dollar government package that was desperately needed.
