Perhaps. At the same time, Caucasians as a group include a wide number of ethnicities. Assuming that they can be treated as group because they migrated together 200K years is faulty reasoning. Compare to African-Americans, who have a recent (within 500 year) experience of forced migration and oppression and subsequent history of discrimination. The events that shape their common culture are recent, making their culture and beliefs more widely integrated and homogeneous. European Americans may have a common origin, but that origin is too far removed to use as a basis for referring to them as a cultural unit.

Racism is not tempered, nor more likely, based on a person's political affiliation. And don't throw some white supremacist crap back at me as "proof", because their political affiliation (which is not in alignment with either of our two major political parties) follows their racism, not the other way around.

Your first paragraph was correct, so imo, you should have just stuck with that. Humans can be racist. There are many, many, racist Democrats. Party affiliation makes no difference.
