Even the phrase "not so much" specifically means they do it, just, y'know, not so much. And while of course there are moderate muslims who have immigrated to western countries and who choose not to live hard and fast by the rules of the Qu'ran, there are at least as many who either keep their zealotry in check because of the laws of the land, or who don't even bother to do that much.

Why do you think cities in western countries are starting to have issues with muslims forming their own "sharia police". They try to pass it off as nothing more than a glorified neighborhood watch, but nobody with an ounce of common sense is fooled by that. Even some liberals recognize the truth, they're just too afraid of being labeled "islamophobic".

I can't deny that, but I would argue the percentage of Christians who would go medieval is much, much lower than the percentage of muslims who would, simply because that train of thought has in fact largely been phased out of the American consciousness.
