It'd be nice to see them demand warning labels for stuff made in seriously hostile places like China. But the fact the EU has politically kissed Palestinian butt for years this comes as no surprise.

Israeli products. They're talking about labelling products made in Israeli settlements.

However, products made by Arabs in the same area do not have to be labeled. How come? Why just Jewish made products? Why label them at all?

Well, there are labels for "Made in China" and "Made in Taiwan".

Not so big when you put it in context.

Yes, but they are for the country of origin, not what race/religion within the country made it. The EU law only applies to Jewish people living in Israeli settlements. It does not apply to Arabs living in the same area.

You do know that is fake.

President Trump has his suits handmade made by Brioni, Martin Greenfield Clothiers, or Michael Andrews. Both are located in NYC. He talked about this in an interview when he was running for his first term.

BTW, Eisenhower and Obama both used Martin Greenfield.

idiot...its the soviet who made germany guilty of their crimes! winners write history book! (have a good reading)
Soviet policy towards the people who fell under their control in occupied areas was harsh, showing strong elements of ethnic cleansing. The NKVD task forces followed the Red Army to remove 'hostile elements' from the conquered territories in what was known as the 'revolution by hanging'.[59] Polish historian, Prof. Tomasz Strzembosz, has noted parallels between the Nazi Einsatzgruppen and these Soviet units.[60] Many civilians tried to escape from the Soviet NKVD round-ups; those who failed were taken into custody and afterwards they were deported to Siberia and vanished in the Gulags.Torture was used on a wide scale in various prisons, especially in those prisons that were located in small towns. Prisoners were scalded with boiling water in Bobrka; in Przemyslany, people's noses, ears, and fingers were cut off and their eyes were also put out; in Czortkow, the breasts of female inmates were cut off; and in Drohobycz, victims were bound together with barbed wire.[61] Similar atrocities occurred in Sambor, Stanislawow, Stryj, and Zloczow.[61] According to historian, Prof. Jan T. Gross:

We cannot escape the conclusion: Soviet state security organs tortured their prisoners not only to extract confessions but also to put them to death. Not that the NKVD had sadists in its ranks who had run amok; rather, this was a wide and systematic procedure.According to sociologist, Prof. Tadeusz Piotrowski, during the years from 1939–41, nearly 1.5 million persons (including both local inhabitants and refugees from German-occupied Poland) were deported from the Soviet-controlled areas of former eastern Poland deep into the Soviet Union, of whom 58.0% were Poles, 19.4% Jews and the remainder other ethnic nationalities.[62] Only a small number of these deportees returned to their homes after the war, when their homelands were annexed by the Soviet Union. According to American professor Carroll Quigley, at least one third of the 320,000 Polish prisoners of war captured by the Red Army in 1939 were murdered.[63]

It's estimated that between 10 and 35 thousand prisoners were killed either in prisons or on prison trail to the Soviet Union in the few days after the 22 June 1941 German attack on the Soviets (prisons: Brygidki, Zolochiv, Dubno, Drohobych, and so on)

Again, Israeli products. The mere fact that you're using this deception tactic means you know full well how come.

You didn't answer my questions?

Aye. They're trying to split hairs so they can argue that their alteration is valid - but, as I very clearly pointed out, the fact that they needed to spin their words deceptively in the first place is most of the argument right there.

Mikki is just deflecting from answering my questions.

My using Jewish is not deceptive and is a very valid point since the law does not apply to products made by Arabs in the same area.

If the law was to determine the place of origin, it would apply to products made by both Arabs and Jews living in that area. So clearly, the law is not to determine where the product came from, but rather what the religion is of the person who made it. Very similar to what the Nazis did in Germany.

You know full well that if you had written your meme with "Israeli settlements" it wouldn't have made the impact you were looking for.

And that's because the impact you're looking for is not grounded in truth.

That's why you phrased it the way you did. So I'm not hearing of it: I'm deflecting nothing; it's your meme that's dishonestly misleading.
3 ups, 5y
You're missing the point. If an Arab living in the same town makes a product it does not have to be labeled.
1 up, 5y
You might have a valid point, except for the fact that it doesn't seem to apply to ALL products made in Israeli settlements, only to those products made by the /Jewish/ inhabitants of those settlements. Therefore saying "Israeli settlements" would be twisting the narrative, putting spin on it, meaning YOU'RE the one trying to be dishonestly misleading.

I would say "yet again", but that would be superfluous, as that appears to be your default setting.
