Are you familiar with how a story works? There's a beginning part, then some stuff happens, and then there's an ending.

With this new information in mind, have another look at Black Panther and this time sit through to the end after the stuff happens.

Yup. Sorry to smash your view of what the movie was about. It starts as an isolationist state, stuff happens, then they realize that that was wrong and then change that in the ending.

Also movie magic since only the movie they become open and while in the comics only once it had turned open only due to an apocalypse

They didn't change their nationalist policies very much, they only dialed them down a tiny bit, and more in the line of helping others see "their way is right because they're the most advanced country". (God forbid America should say that.)

And they haven't changed their isolationist policies /at all/. They haven't opened their borders and suddenly started letting people in. Hell, by Avengers Infinity War, they still have the holographic shield up keeping their nation hidden from outsider eyes.

Why are they all about black people?

Black Panther was good, but not Oscar worthy. The only superhero movies that have been Oscar worthy are The Dark Knight, Logan, and mmmmmaybe Captain America: Winter Soldier.

I mean eh. I really don't know what goes through the heads if people that nominate movies for the oscars. So...

In fact money goes through their heads. Movies aren't nominated, and don't win, on merit. They're nominated, for the most part, based on who schmoozes the best in Hollywood; who throws the right parties, invites the right people, gives "presents" to the right people, etc. etc.

In other words, most movies get nominations and votes based on who campaigns the best. It's exactly like a presidential campaign race. That's why the whole "Oscars so white" protest a couple years ago was almost completely pointless. I say "almost" because it did get Black Panther thrown a pity-f**k... I mean pity-nomination

It seems to be that people feel obliged to like things that deal with racism and slavery. It really gets over done. EVERY book I read in school is about black people suffering from racism. It really strengthens that victim mentality. Black people doesnt just equal oppression, and it would help if not like all of our literature painted them like that. Im fine with learning the history, but frankly it is over done in a lot of media. I watched black Klansmen by the way. It was frankly a horrible movie. Black panther was actually good.

Eh, didn't watch the movie Balck Klansman. Seems intresting enough. I'll take your word for it. But Honestly? I really don't care since we've got more important things to do. I kinda don't follow the Oscars.

I just think it's amusing that Black Panther is rated better than Citizen Kane on Rotten Tomatos lol

Citizen Kane was BORING, but I catch ur drift. Rotten tomatoes isnt really a good source. Ok, I looked, the list is garbage. Its such a bad list. Blackkklansmen is high on there. Maybe newer ones get better ratings. Its people rating them i guess. GODFATHER IS LOWER THAN PADDINGTON 2. KILL ME NOW.

Citizen Kane introduced new filming techniques and went against Hearst, which was pretty brave. It's also better if you know that Hearst use to call a part of his mistress's anatomy 'rosebud' and in the movie he dies with 'rosebud' on his lips.

I think it's because they compile all the reviews they find and there are alot more newer reviewers reviewing the newer movie and they probably aren't as critical. And then you get the cases like Black Panther, and Lee's newest race baiting movie I assume, where critics are called 'racist' for not having a panderingly glowing review.
