Wow why is everyone obsessed with Logical Fallacy? It'a just a Fallacy, or just overworking an argument, Like the Apple Logo here it's overworked. To blow on the coals somewhat more a Pro sportsman does not wear a uniform purely by the definition of the term uniform, each participant garment in a team is non-uniform, they all have major differences by having numbers and names embossed on them which at a glance you can identify the wearer as a individual, something that isn't so easy with the uniformed persons, no two sports garments are uniform, but they are similar. So crinmcranty meme is correct with regards to the garments. Furthermore he is right if he identifies himself as Real American, which doesn't mean you or I or anyone else has to do the same but he can do so because you can identify as a Non American. If you disallow his argument then you remove the transgender reasoning which currently everyone else is getting so hot over, as we all know there's only is male and female. Whichever path we choose it doesn't mean anyone one of us is a bad person because we are allowed to disagree with each other.

That's right but at say for instance 20 paces you can tell ball player clinton from trump (lower case deliberate) but it would be much harder to separate private clinton from private trump, so there is uniformity and non-uniformity.
As for the potatoes that is just a fallacy, and will remain so until we can totally observe the whole of Mars every Tuesday until we work out which Tuesday is the other Tuesday and then just observe on that Tuesday.
Sound arguments are also a fallacy because things change, the earth isn't flat, there are more than four elements, LHO killed Kennedy, all are now disproved but once they were sound arguments.
Finally your use of Schrödinger's cat thought experiment is brilliant because we are both right and wrong at the same time, and will remain so for eternity because of 0 & 1 they can never be the same.

When Galileo dropped those cannon balls from the top of that Tower in Pisa, he did more than overturn centuries of scientific orthodoxy, at a stroke, he established a new conception of the scientific method based upon careful experimentation and rigorous observation (Mars Potatoes) and also laid the groundwork for conflict between the critical open mindedness of science and the recalcitrant dogmatism of religion that has continued to the present day.
Philosophy does allow itself to be wrong so long as philosophers can keep disagreeing with each other violently enough and maligning each other as they do, and so long as they have clever agents, they can keep yourselves on the gravy train for life whilst continuously dividing and reuniting everyone else.

The right reverend and married Martin Luther King had sex with prostitutes while on the road protesting. He never turned from this habit. Does that make all he did evil? No. It makes him a sinner. You cannot teach an entire person’s work upon finding something wrong, or worse yet, something that is s difference of opinion.

Owners and bosses tried to silence people who were advocating for better conditions for other Americans. They wanted to have a workforce at slave wages to increase their own profits. Labor Day is to honor the efforts that have given us a 40 hour work week, no child labor, safe working conditions. All of which we take for granted. Yes, the military protect and football players entertain. You don't have to watch football. If you have rights as a worker, chances are you owe it to someone who sacrificed to make it so.

Why protest? To bring attention to a cause.
Does the protest bother you? Then it’s doing it’s job right.
Want them to stop protesting? Try understanding what they are protesting and engage them on it.
Compare protesters to service members? Service members sign up to protect the protesters right to protest. Not to protect you from being offended.

They are protesting against unaccountable POLICE-COMMITTED MURDERS (which happen disproportionately to black and brown folks)... The Justice Dept - not the President - should be acting against such killings - and without being asked. No one (black or brown) wants to honor the guy who put Jeff Sessions in charge of the Justice Dept... by talking to him, or showing up at the White House... Not even the SuperBowl Champions.

Colin Kaepernick actually has spoken out quite eloquently at times.

https://www.cnn.com/2018/04/21/us/colin-kaepernick-amnesty-international/index.html

https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2018/04/21/colin-kaepernick-police-killings-protest/539240002/

As for Chicago... The cycle of violence doesn't end at Slavery and White supremacy, or police abuse. 'Hurt PEOPLE - hurt people' is a saying that rings with truth... Victims become victimizers, naturally... Add in a system of Red-Light districts created to exist within the Black community - but not elsewhere in the city... Well then you have a different set of rules inside those communities. Black neighborhoods become free-fire zones... Because of the tradition of prosecuting crimes by blacks against whites vigorously - while doing little when the victims are black... It creates a culture... That the black community will have to work through... But when the police are feared and mistrusted (rightly) by the community... Well that makes solving crimes with black victims just that much harder...

I didn't read the article, but Ford's CEO saying that if if the tariffs go into effect and Ford doesn’t get an exemption the costs "would" be higher and that their “resources could be better deployed” is speculation and opinion? Indeed it is, but it's the opinion and speculation of Ford's CEO, so it kinda bears a slight more bearing on the decison from Ford than from a politically biased naysayer.

And you said he really needs to get his comprehension skills examined?
0 ups, 6y,

Do we need a lesson in context verbs and tense? And I never said that what the ceo of ford said was speculation or opinion, please read correctly! The rest of the article was basically an opinion piece and ended with a quote from the ceo. How exactly am I a naysayer when just about every automotive manufacturer in the USA has been whittling down their production of sedans and leaning more towards the suv and truck market for many years now? Even car maker that never forayed into suv are now producing suvs? Factor in foreign automotive manufacturers like Honda, Nissan, Toyota whose bulk of models are sedans and compacts it makes perfect sense that some makers stop or slow down their production and focus on what sells.

What is the Mustang? Besides being one of the most iconic “cars” in automotive history... it is a CAR!!! You really have something other than a brain between your ears!?!?!?! “In its earnings report for the first quarter of 2018, the company announced: "By 2020, almost 90 percent of the Ford portfolio in North America will be trucks, utilities and commercial vehicles. Given declining consumer demand and product profitability, the company will not invest in next generations of traditional Ford sedans for North America." In other words, if you miss having the option of buying a Ford sedan, blame the millions of Americans who haven't bought one in the last several years.”

one car. whoopie. tariffs guarantee 99% are no longer here, and we are just starting, the idiot has bankrupted every business he has touched except his jerry springer show ...Kumar Galhotra, Ford’s president of North American operations, declined to say whether the move was a reflection of doubt that cooler heads will prevail in the U.S.-China trade war.

“Given the tariffs, obviously our costs would be substantially higher,” Galhotra said in a conference call with reporters. “Our resources could be better deployed.”. tick tock.

Not sure if you read the whole thread about cars above but you’re right, classic case of cherry picking a story of no consequence and turning it into a major attack on the president, problem with them is they don’t count on the possibility of running into someone who is more informed or dare I say smarter than they are and so the insults fly and the personal attacks expose their flaws and weakness.

I have to be honest here as well, I do carry tiki torches... but only from the shed to the areas around my deck and pool when the warm weather starts and I support President Trump!
