Yes! Without that reminder of what not to do, we are destined to repeat our mistakes of the past.

I'd like to make clear that I have no problem with the removal of Civil War statues, as long as it is done equally. Sheridan, Sherman, and their superiors may have been loyal to the Union, but they betrayed the people by virtue of the atrocities they committed. Leave them all up, or take them all down.

We have books for that. Like the Bible. Or ACTUAL history books.

The problem with books is that the people, groups, schools, organizations that write those books can and have skewed the truth or have rewritten history to suit an agenda. You can gather every history book across this country and they’re all going to be different and they’re all going to have descrepencies regarding the same subject.

So where do you get YOUR information from? The news is fake, books are fake, science is fake....what basis of information do you use to support your decisions?

Well I never said that books were fake, and neither is science. The news well that’s just a matter of opinion. I try to use common sense and don’t take anyone source as a be all end all, when you cut out the spin and opinion and if what’s left over matches then there’s a good chance that information is closer to the truth.

What ever happened to having a dialog or bringing your grievance to a town council?
