I see you commented that it was a repost well down the list, maybe a more honest approach is to put "repost" where you put Ernest of Borg. Also since it was admitted to after, would you have done it had you not been called out on it? You don't have to answer to me.
Not just a repost but there is enough of them for an album lmao! Sadly many here believe pointing out a repost to be the behaviour that should be judged. It doesn't matter that an attempt at posting this anyplace else would either be blocked or downvoted into oblivion. On this site if it gets you points then it doesn't matter if the rest of the internet looks at it like gum they can't wipe off their shoe.
To some the illusion of being a big fish in a small pond is enough to satisfy them. Do people in Germany care that David Hasselhoff is thought of as a joke in America? Nope they just know their fellow Germans like his singing so they follow along until their ears have bled so much he sounds like a talented singer.
German singers don't come to America and make it big it only works out the other way around. Germans don't care about how the rest of the world thinks about Hasselhoff like imgflippers don't care how the rest of the internet thinks about reposts. The only real difference is that the Hoff can spend the money he makes from Germany in America. Where as having points on imgflip is not only worthless on other sites, they can actually cost you more than if you have nothing at all.
Not really, I mean I write for a living and can type as fast as I think so to me that is a small amount of words. It's all about your perspective I suppose, in a world where most of the writing people do anymore fits into a text or a tweet what I wrote may look like a lot. But to me the thought of trying to compress everything that flies through my mind into a couple sentences is a lot harder than typing it out in a few paragraphs.
Just as a side comment, I didn’t get a notification that you commented on this, just happened to see it while checking another comment notification. You ever have this problem?
What’s up with that? I think it’s more fun commenting, and joining in the fun, than just making what you think is a masterpiece meme, and have hardly anyone see it! Plus, sometimes I get “memers block” till I see a few comments... : p
That's been my best tip to new users. Comment a lot, make it relevant and you would be surprised what you come up with. It's great practice! I'm not sure what happens with missed notifications, unless maybe the occur while viewing the list?
