Thats the whole point of it, if the person had put their name probability of it getting views and reaching the front page would be less than posting it anonymously. Person can always own up to their meme in comments if they want to.
I actually made some anomymous ones on purpose to check if that is so and compare with the ones that arent anonymous and it checks out, but to tell you the truth i wouldnt admit it was my meme either if it was.
