Political theatre. Politicians like to pretend that they represent "the people" by mimicking dress, accents, and "purity" yet they hate the actual religion of love and forgiveness. Islam is more politics than religion and it is insane that the party of feminists can embrace such an anti feminist ideology.

Not really. It's completely in line since feminism is anti women.
5 ups, 3w
True... Europe is FOing the collateral damage of not pushing back against the mistreatment of their women, whether out of fear, stupidity, or design. Inexplicably...no one learns or pass it off as a lie.

"feminism is anti women"

That's a very interesting take. What makes you think that?
1 up, 3w
Feminism pushes women to go against their natural biological instincts. It pushes them to do things they don't want to do for outcomes they don't like.
For example the number of 30+ year old women in TikTok complaining about working and being boss babes is innumerable.

Technically speaking, posting from scripts doesn't make anybody think anything.

While electing (barely, but still elected) a mayor who represents another culture is not inviting a mass import, it sure as hell opens the door wide.

Switching to another possibly more important aspect of the meme... consider the gay folks who are in, or support the 'gays for palestine' crowd. Of course, they have no choice in being anti-Trump, so they foolishly and thoughtlessly align themselves with a political ideology that considers them worthy of nothing more than death.

While I can't speak for vBackman, I think that concept was at least as much a key point of her meme, if not more so, than the 'mass import' angle you chose to sort of, kind of, almost attack by stating your opposite opinion as fact. Not a much of an attack, imo.

Mamdani represents another culture? He had lived in the US most of his life, since he was a little kid. It's the culture he knows best.

Gay people supporting Palestinians as they are being slaughtered and persecuted isn't the same as supporting Islam

You have a valid concern there, the IDF SS will shoot at anybody.

As per usual, you are wrong. Not just wrong, but wrong in a way that shows how ill-informed (which is the dictionary definition of ignorance) you truly are about my views and about Muslim govts around the world.

For you to utterly dismiss the FACT that Islam fundamentally believes homosexuality is a sin, which absolutely has resulted in Muslim govts killing gays, lesbians, etc., or nearly as bad turning a blind eye when it happens, and to do so by way of some glib, ignorant comment about the IDF, just shows that you're not a serious person. And that doesn't even cover how disrespectful your comment is to homosexuals, but to Jews and Israel as well. But the left is so firmly antisemitic now. So I understand your motive, but not your tactic.

I know you won't care to remember, because you have proven that you not only have TDS, but FADS (Fat Elvis Derangement Syndrome... yes modda, your affliction with lying about me goes way back to when I used Fat Elvis for my login) So, I'll simplify my position for you. I support equal rights for everyone, period. Sexual orientation is irrelevant. And on this issue, not that facts matter to you, I walked the walk by voting against prop 8 here in Taxifornia. So I'm not like the grifters, hypocrites, and lying libtards on the left who have to shove everyone into some twisted ideological box before they can figure out what their view is... this time.

If you want to know where I stand on any issue, just pretend, if even for a moment, that you can look at the issue through the lens of freedom. I know, hard for a leftist to do.

Oh, cool, he's going to list some numbers of executions that he's gotten from his extensive knowledge of Muslim governments from around the world, with that one single picture of ISIS throwing a guy off a roof in Iraq as proof of the daily executions in countries from Albania to Malaysia.

Something something.... ahh, there it is, taxiformia... something... and I'm sure demoroids is in there somewhere too as well as how New Yorkers don't know anything about foreigners because we don't have any here in the Melting Pot of Planet Earth,,,

At least you're fully willing to admit that facts in support of a viewpoint are irrelevant to you and by extension probably a lot of dumocrats. I always knew it, but to see you put it in writing is mildly satisfying.

I only bring up demorrhoids and Taxifornia when they are relevant to the conversation. The fact that how I brought them up in this case flew right over your head, is not surprising in the least. You are a consistent fellow, that's for certain.

Consistency aside, as I said, you're clearly not a serious person. Not on this issue, nor anything else I've seen you attempt to discuss here on the mighty imgflip. If you were, you'd have something of substance to say, instead of resorting to your usual gibbering about me.

Is this the guy who posts the same image of a guy being thrown off a roof and says it's in Iraq in one post, then says that same image is in Iran in another post, and so on?
2 ups, 3w,

That would probably be hardraker, although it's hard to tell since they basically all use the same image for whatever country they want to attach it to at the moment. I've seen it used for Gaza when Israel was bombing them, and more recently for Iran when we were bombing them.

Well you have to understand, unlike us unworldly folks, him, Capt Adventure, Old Hippie, Old Karen... Well they've lived all over the world, mainly the Middle East, and on one occasion, the USSR. Back when it was actually the USSR.

People tend to think that Bible Belt farmers who live on the family farm tend to live on their family farms did they farm, but nothing could be farther from the truth. They travel the world in between farming. That's why they can't remember the name of the state they live in, it's just one other abbreviation on the ETA chart at the airport.

Is anybody seeing a pattern here??
2 ups, 3w,
1 reply
Yep, I see a pattern here. Southern conservative rural folks who were raised in military families, forced to move so often as kids they don't know where they live now, many claiming to have had miraculous life experiences and adventures that us liberal folks living in blue city ghettos never had. All are experts of Islamic culture and feel it is their duty to lecture liberals and point out why we are ruining their white America.
2 ups, 3w
[{my apologies to Wez and his boy toy, but this had to be done}]

Certainly has opened my eyes, popped the stereotype of rural folks being rural folks because they're folks who are rural, and totally oblivious to the outside world because, well, they live in the middle of absolute nothingness. Other than tumbleweeds and cow pies.

Now I see them as worldly people who are very worldly in their knowledge of languages and customs and cultures abroad, even deep within the heart of enemy territory that wants nothing more than to exterminate Protestant Christians. That takes onions, you know, a massive set of manly man onions to actually live amongst people who do nothing except kill Christians and Jews all day long. No wonder why these people support the Second Amendment, they've survived life in Mad Maxafghanistan.

Way to attempt to veer the conversation into a place where logic has no purpose, aka libtard land.
5 ups, 3w

2 ups, 3w,

No, the OP is attacking AOC for wearing a hijab. Did the OP ever wear a hijab when she lived in Iran? The conversation is to expose hypocrisy.
5 ups, 3w,
2 replies
If I thought you actually cared about hypocrisy... well, I haven't seen evidence that you do. But see a chance to throw perceived hypocrisy at a conservative? The left is all over it. Hypocrisy much?

What logic are you attempting to use? While the two examples are superficially similar, that's where it ends, imo. Because if you're saying it's the same thing for a non-Muslim woman to wear a hijab while living in a Muslim country, as it is for a non-Muslim woman to wear a hijab while speaking at a political rally in her own country, then your argument is fairly weak, imo. The two things are not the same

So, as much as you would clearly like them to be, so you can justify throwing your opinion in vBackman's face that you believe her to be a hypocrite, they're just not the same. Besides, vBackman is a lot of wonderful things and maybe some bad that I don't know about, but I seriously doubt that she's a hypocrite. I've seen zero evidence of that.

If we could perhaps focus on turning this from a tl;dr to a yes or no, I'm sure that might satisfy his question.

It sure will satisfy my curiosity regarding the subject that you stepped into but are veering into a multitude of different disconnected directions deflecting away from and extensive paragraphs of which unfortunately for the one who typed them are all too easy to simply bypass,,,

Because nothing convinces anybody that something is actually for real like repeating it over and over and over again for absolutely no reason.

After all, us here in our America feel there is no reason for us here in America to repeat that America is our home because we here in our America obviously are here in our America where we are.

Unless, of course, if you're from California because it's a California thing to do to repeatedly repeat California as often as possible in every other sentence. Like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, can you name any of their Top 10 hits that isn't about California? You can take any of their songs and literally just replace every word with California and sing it to the tune, and nobody will notice the difference. So I guess it's a California thing, or in this case, Taxiformia.

Great, next time I hear a Chili Pepper song, instead of just repeating California over and over again, I'm going to be saying Taxiformia endlessly.
