Islams strap bombs to their chest and kill Christians

Christians go and preach to Islams knowing they might get killed doing so

What hypocrisy!

vBackman recently posted a meme titled "We Know Our Enemies & The Enemies Require Punishment".

Her statement doesn't express a Christian value. Jesus taught that people should love their enemies, which involves treating them with kindness, praying for them, and doing good to them, rather than repaying evil with evil.

I am not a Christian although I do respect good Christians very much! I was raised by the Golden Rule and have a very strongly developed
conscience.

I think most of the ten Commandments are good rules to live by. I don't agree with all of them.

I have always been grateful to be an American and I don't love the enemies of America. Just being honest. If you're a good person, we will get along great, but if you are a pedophile, a terrorist, or someone who hates America, you're just not on my friends' list.

I do believe in punishment for bad behavior. How else does a person learn to not do bad things? The Democrats have done everything humanly possible to destroy our great country. Normal citizens do not open up their borders to unvetted invaders who do harm to Americans, our institutions, and our traditional values. Many illegals today do not assimilate.

America was never meant to be a communist country soft on criminals who are released to just do heinous things again & again! Look at Obama and Biden, the J6 Committee, leftist judges and lawfare, deliberate fraud, waste and abuse, etc.

We are not the same. You may call it repaying evil with evil. I call it justice well deserved.

Not a Christian but quotes Jesus in her meme to make Islam look bad. Why not quote the Tanakh?

Islam looks bad all by itself

She's not Christian and definitely not Muslim. If she's Jewish, the MAGA white supremacists in Charlottesville chanted “Jews are Satan’s children” and “Jews will not replace us”. That's the MAGA she's supporting?

I am not Jewish, I am not Muslim, I am Caucasian. But this meme is not about me so quit trying to change the subject.

Why can't you just enjoy your leftist friends? You and I would never agree about the weather much less anything political or of substance.

Perhaps you could engage in a deep conversation with other libs in an attempt to figure out what a woman is or why you hate Trump or which of you have submitted to the largest number of Covid boosters?

Libs know what a woman is. Some are angry Karens who display a superior manner that shows contempt for others, like this one:

The precept of freedom of religion is based on Christianity, not Islam.

Where does the Bible say that?

Well more like liberty. . .and pick a verse that is relevent-

The concept of the freedom of religion is biblical for several reasons. First, God Himself extends a “freedom of religion” to people, and the Bible has several examples. In Matthew 19:16-23, the rich young ruler comes to Jesus. After a brief conversation, the young man “went away sorrowful,” choosing not to follow Christ. The salient point here is that Jesus let him go. God does not “force” belief in Him. Faith is commanded but never coerced. In Matthew 23:37, Jesus expresses His desire to gather the children of Jerusalem to Himself, but they “were not willing.” If God gives men the freedom to choose or to reject Him, then so should we.

Unlike most other religions Christianity is a choice. “ let he who hears come” Free will and all.

Punishment for crimes committed is a form of justice. Justice allows a group of people to coexist at a level above kill or be killed. God is about love and justice, but society is against a theocracy so using "Christianity" to argue against justice? Poorly thought out critique against holding people accountable. We are seeing a group of people that the evidence coming out shows that they committed crimes. That, in a non totalitarian government, requires punishment. You disagree they committed a crime or feel they were justified in committing the crime(s)? This is why they aren't summarily lined up against a wall and playing dodge bullet in a system that wants justice. They still could be if found guilty. Oh, and as a Follower and One that trusts in the saving grace offered by God through the work of Jesus Christ on the cross which will allow me to live in His Presence forever in His Kingdom and thereby being completely absolved from His Justice that I have earned many times over. I am mandated to forgive someone that commits a crime against me but that doesn't absolve them of their crime. Justice is forcing them to pay the debt they accrued against society. God will also hold each of us accountable for the crimes we commit. His punishment is much more final.

When I think about religion, and 'good' religious people, I think of you, Diogenes. You walk the talk.

I am so grateful that good/smart conservatives frequent my memes and I am very thankful for your wisdom. Oh, and laughs you of me have

Knowing what awaits me without the mercy of God, I don't hate even unbelieving democrats not to tell them they can have it as well. Honestly, for a group that loves free things so much, one would think they'd want it twice!

That being said, I, too, am grateful for the quality, and ... consistent ..thoughts you and many of other like minded intelligent individuals post that mesh so helpfully into the quirkiness in my thought processes which allow me to entertain us on occasion.😌🤭👍

vBackman stated "I am not a Christian".

Didn't Jesus say in passages like John 8:44, that those who rejected him were "children of the devil"? Curious of your quirky thought process on this...

Every religion has a history of violence, including Christianity
0 ups, 3w
Man has a history of violence. The Bible does not command you to visit violence on others. How about the Koran? Or the Torah?
