I believe this is the article in question https://www.nbcmiami.com/decision-2024/elon-musk-election-falsehoods-x-fact-check-officials/3455390
It basically cries about Musk stating unverifiable statements and how when he’s occasionally wrong, he’s “spreading misinformation and lies!!!” which is highly irrational. To my knowledge he’s just a person highly skeptical of the establishment, and who frequently makes anti-state posts that could potentially be wrong or could be right.
Like imagine making a post on social media about your political view over something, and then you later realize that you were completely wrong about it. It happens to literally anyone. But instead of people in the replies saying that “you’re wrong and here’s why” they say “you’re wrong and you’re intentionally spreading lies and misinformation to gaslight people!!!” but have no real evidence to back up that motive
Headlines are intentionally made to be clickbaity. Their contents are often inflated. This is a known fact and is one of the many issues plaguing the modern media. You should know better than to blindly trust them.
I’ve said this several times but his family wasn’t even that rich. His father owned a stake in a Namibian emerald mine worth just around $3 million, and only $200,000 of that was invested into Elon’s first company, Zip2. He has relied on generational wealth much less than you think.
He is an extremely self made entrepreneur for then becoming the world’s richest person from that much money.
I don’t really like his personality as he’s narcissistic and corny. And his political views changing is not surprising to me at all, he used to be friends with Obama in the early 2010s.
I also completely disagree with his view on work visas. But it’s really, really dumb to assert that he hates every immigrant when he unironically is an immigrant himself.
I haven’t seen a single case of him unfairly banning someone. I know that he did ban ElonJet, but that account was basically doxxing him repeatedly.
Give me an example of when he spread misinformation.
