A worldwide flood would have people talking about it so even secular history shows about 500 cultures around the world have a flood account in their history. Here’s an example: "Toltec Indians of ancient Mexico [say] the first world...lasted 1,716 years and was destroyed by a great flood that covered even the highest mountains. The Creator told a pious man, ‘Tapi,’ to build a boat that he would live in and escape the destruction. He was told that he should take his wife and a pair of every animal that was alive. Naturally everyone thought he was crazy. Then the rain started and the flood came." Sound familiar? And today, we Christians go through that same sort of frustration this Tapi guy faced, right? We warn people to get into the ark of Jesus because they face death at any moment, which will then make it too late for them. And there's also an event coming at any moment that will be nothing like they've ever seen--the Rapture, which won't be Jesus arriving on the earth. Instead, that will be when Christians go up to the sky to meet Jesus. And what do people say to that today?

Even if our desert-island recluse was blind and deaf, so he could not see or hear God’s "Creation" (the first C of 3), Romans 2 talks about the second C, which is the light of "Conscience.” People inherently know it's wrong to murder. Where did that come from? If evolution were true, there would be no right and wrong, right? Of course over time people like Hitler can have their consciences become seared. Early on though, everyone knows it inherently wrong to kill and steal. Where did that come from? Since many have not seen God’s 10 Commandments, where did they get those same morals? That's the moral argument of existence, which says, logically, universal moral laws must come from a universal moral-law giver, i.e., God. There has to be a God. Creation and Conscience (2 C’s) testify that there is a God and those pull the rug from under skeptics. So our island guy has no excuse. The third "C" is “Christ,” and this one is for you! We addressed the hypothetical straw-man argument of the desert-island guy, mountaintop person, or those lost in isle 37 at Wal-Mart. But none of that matters if you’re reading this. We are all sinners and Christ died to save us from hell, if we just accept His free gift of salvation He supplied to us by dying for our sins on the cross. It’s a disciple’s education for every Christian because Jesus' last words upon leaving earth were, "Go and make discipled learners of all nations.” Disciples can each save multitudes. Romans 1 and 2 answer our question and it’s called the "three C's.” First is the C in "Creation.” Having no Bible is no excuse. Romans 1 says none of us have an excuse because we had "the light of creation." Just step outside to see a bird, a flea, or a bee and that's intelligent design (just as your car is), which implies a Designer. The unfathomable complexity of the stars and planets show there is no stinking way this all happened by chance. All of creation drives us to know that there is a God. Romans 1 tells us this: "God's invisible attributes, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen since the creation of the world.” God is seen and heard just by observing and hearing His creation. Even with the huge differences we saw in Christianity verses Hinduism (just like all the other works-based faiths), we often hear this sort of unresearched statement: “All religions mostly teach the same stuff." No! That's a lie! Christianity is absolutely unique and is the only way. But still to this day, in his depravity, Satan has invented; a myriad of false paths to confuse people away from Jesus. And the devil does so out of pure evil, wanting all he can dupe to join him in the Lake of Fire. Satan knows he's lost. He's was a loser when Jesus beat him on the cross. But Satan has teamed up with humans (who seek power and money), to deceive people all the way into an eternity in hell. The alternative is to accept the free gift of salvation given to us by Jesus' work on the cross. [2 OF 3] Contrary the Hindu works-based beliefs we saw in part one, Christians have the truth that there is only one Mediator between man and God, which is Jesus Christ. We can go straight Him without rituals because all the work has already been done FOR us by Christ. In Hebrews, John says Christians have the freedom to go with boldness directly to God, always
finding Grace and help from Him in our time of need. Isn't that mind blowing!? To me those words feel like they are coming off the pages. John is amazed at the thought that we Christians are actually CHILDREN of GOD. Can you believe that—after all the bad things we've done?! Romans 5 talks about how, as ungodly sinners (before getting saved), we hated God. And God certainly didn't need us. But He still chose to die for us so that we can become what we are today: His actual children, Christians. And it's all free. There's no priest to go through and no techniques to perform because it's all been taken care of.
