![WHY DID GOD CREATE HELL?
Here’s what one guy says: Think for a moment of what the devil has done. If you could design a place to make him pay for what he's done in your life and the lives around you throughout all of human history, what kind of a place would you design for him?
Well, God has designed such a place. It's called hell. Hell was originally designed by God to make the devil pay for bringing evil and rebellion into His creation [Matthew 25:41.] It was a place where God's anger, His rage, and His wrath, would go uncut, unbridled, and uncensored. It was designed with the devil in mind; not for people. But hell does not discriminate between a person and a demon. It's like a wood chipper that you throw big logs and branches into. It grinds them up into a mulch. That's what hell is. It's God's divine wood chipper. Nobody cringes when they see a log roundup. But imagine if someone grabbed a log and as they threw it into the chipper, a piece of the limb grabbed their pants and started to pull them in. What would you do? Would you not grab them? Would you not pull on them? Would you not scream, 'Turn it off! Turn the machine off!' Why? It's because the chipper wasn't designed for grinding humans but the chipper doesn't care if it's a human or a log or a rock or a stone. It's designed to crush. And so it is with Hell. It doesn't care if it's a demon or a human. It's designed to crush and destroy and to heep pain and suffering and agony on rebellious angels, including Satan who dared to rebel against God. There is no escape. There's no turning back. They are doomed and so it is with anyone who has the audacity to rebell against God; human or devil. their counterparts, American
Word of Faith teachers,
the only difference is that
the latter just sprinkle Christianese
on the Hindu sales pitch.
Folks want to believe the man (or woman)
on television is going to help them
get out of their struggles,
(as he claims he will). Instead, just like the gurus in India, these guys are grabbing

Day after day, they get on television, claiming we can have a perfect life full of riches beyond our most ambitious dreams, just as the gurus in India promise Hindus. Both the Word of Faith people and Hindu gurus also promise perfect health. Still, the Church today is silent about these people in our midst. And what is the result? Second Peter tells us it brings the truth of Christianity into shameful disrepute. We must call a spade a spade! Peter speaks to us, the future Christian Church: "In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they made up. [And then someone tells them,] 'But that's not true and [the other] is not true. Doesn't that make you a bit suspicious?’ The only permanent solution is the authority of the Creator. He's the only One that obviously can have authority over those beings. They are not Neverland aliens visiting us from a galaxy far, far away. Then there's this important fact about the rock solid credibility of the Bible: Scripture was written over a period of 1500 years, through 40 generations, by 40 authors from every walk of life, including kings, peasants, philosophers, fisherman, poets, statesmen, etc. Before getting saved, I used to say the Bible was whipped up by men. But even on his best day, man could never put together something like the Bible. The writers didn't even know each other so how can critics claim they conspired? The diverse authors to the Bible were from all over the spectrum: Moses, was a political leader; Peter, a Fisherman; Amos, a herdsman; Joshua, a military general; Nehemiah, a cup bearer; Daniel, a prime minister; Luke, a doctor; Solomon, a King; Matthew, a tax collector; and Paul was a rabbi. Scripture was written in all kind of places: the wilderness, a dungeon, on a hillside, in a palace and a prison, while traveling, on the Island of Patmos by John, and during military campaigns. The last one of course was at a time of war but the Bible was also put down on paper in times of peace. So there were many different moods of the authors, from the heights of joy to the depths of despair and sorrow. On top of all that, Scripture was written on three continents (Asia, Africa and Europe) in three languages (Hebrew, Koine Greek, and a small part, Aramaic). With those aspects of the Bible in mind, here are the mind-blowers: Never once does the Bible contradict itself and it gives the same message throughout the Old and New Testament. Christians can fully bank on the Bible, knowing it's exactly what God laid out for us as the only way that contains all truth, as well as the correct history and future. Contrary to that solid foundation for life, involving a relationship with Jesus, religions and cults just prescribe rituals, donations, worship of different entities, mantras, sacrifices, and other works of that nature. But those don't reveal ultimate knowledge because only the Bible can do that. Of course the Bible has skeptics so let’s look at the evidence: Skeptics say we can’t trust that it was Moses, around 1445 B.C., who wrote about the Garden of Eden in Genesis. However, with all due respect, that's the importance of genealogies. With the Bible, we can look at the lives of just three men in Genesis 10, who together cover the first 2157 years of mankind. How could that time period be so long? Of course it's because man had a longer life span at the beginning and that's not just some spiritualization of the Genesis text. We even know it’s scientifically possible, as we dealt with in detail through our study, "In the Days of Noah," as part of our "Creation Series." So, the history being repeated in the Bible is from only three guys, who knew each other for a long, long time. It wasn't just some weekend conference where

A second testament to the veracity of the Bible is the Jewish copy methods, including the writing of doctrine on surfaces that would last; like the skins of clean animals, pottery, and sometimes even copper scrolls. And by the way, in God's sovereign plan, a lot of these items were stored in the desert where the extreme dryness greatly facilitated the preservation process. It's almost like God knew what He was doing, right? Also, the Jewish scribes had to produce a product with the exact same number of lines and columns throughout every Bible codex (an ancient text in book form). In fact, it literally involved a mathematical formula, a set mandatory recipe for the ink, they could not write anything from a memory, (including insignificant punctuation), those copying had to sit in full dress, they even washed their whole body over and over again each time they wrote the name of God, and even if a king or other royalty addressed that scribe, he could not acknowledge the noble, which was most likely punishable by death back in those days.
