CAN WE ACHIEVE PERFECT HEALTH?
[5 of 6] Contrary to the Bible, Word of Faith preacher, Frederick Price, says this: "How can you glorify God...when your body doesn't even work? What makes you think the Holy Ghost wants to live inside of a body where He can't see through the windows and He can't hear with the ears; where the limbs and organs and cells do not function right?”
What Price just said puts a stake in the heart of every person who has ever gotten a disease, been confined to a wheelchair, or had body parts that didn't work. Again, it's the same Hinduism mindset where Word of Faith followers donate money to get the trinkets and then use them to perform the guru's techniques, chanting the prescribed mantras. Then when the devotee remains in their wheelchair, what response do they get from their American guru? The false teacher actually has the audacity to say something like, "Well, you must be hiding some secret." or "You just don't have enough faith.” It’s easy to see why Peter said, “Their condemnation has long been hanging
over them and their destruction has not been sleeping.” | image tagged in health, healing, god, bible, hindu | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

IS MEDITATION OKAY? [2 of 4] The Hindu technique of mediation is something Jesus warned us about. He told us not to pray like the pagans, who babble on and on. The Greek root is almost a direct translation from "barbar," referring to the barbarians who lived in foreign lands. The Greeks called them barbarians because when the Greeks heard them speak, it just sounded like, "brah, brah, brah, brah, brah, brah, brah…”; So, Jesus is telling us not to be like the pagans, who sound like barbarians when they pray to their idols. And that is precisely what mantras during meditation are; just repetitious babbling. Jesus said not to do it because it’s not the same as biblical prayer. When we Christians pray, obviously it is not focusing our mind on repetition of meaningless words or phrases. We pray directly to God, speaking to Him using our mind and intelligible words to have a conversation; telling Him how much we love Him and asking for help. | image tagged in meditation, hindu, prayer, bible, god, pagan | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

IS MEDITATION OKAY?
[1 of 4] "The similarities between the practice of transcendental meditation and the practice of religious Hindu prayer rituals cannot be denied. The basic posture for transcendental meditation is sitting for 15-20 minutes, with the eyes closed, and repeating a mantra or a simple sound TO CLEAR THE MIND of thought.”; Very different from that goal of mediation, TO EMPTY THE MIND, Christian prayer seeks to pray to God WITH OUR MIND, including petitions, where we're asking God to help others, or for help with certain aspects of our lives, as well as thanking and praising Him—we have an actual conversation with Him. Opposite of that is meditation, where those practicing this Hindu religious ritual repeat mantras, (certain words or phrases), over and over and over and over and over, UNTIL THEIR MINDS EMPTY; with the goal of contacting spirits, which are not the Spirit of God. | image tagged in meditation, prayer, hindu, bible, god, spirits | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

CAN WE ACHIEVE PERFECT HEALTH?
[2 of 6] No, but American gurus like Kenneth Copeland say we can. He is a huge influence in the Word of Faith movement. Here's his quote & notice he's even using Hindu terms like meditation as he also whips out New Age lingo, teaching that we have a God force we can tap into to create anything we desire (like perfect health): "You began to meditate on those scriptures until you built an inner image of yourself healed. As that image grew more crisp and clear, you began to expect—or hope for—that image to become reality... You'll be expecting the very presence of God to rise up in you so powerfully that instead of believing for healing every six weeks, you'll walk in divine health every day!” | image tagged in health, healing, hindu, guru, god, bible | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
