And we can get perfect health by chanting while holding special Hindu charm and amulet trinkets that devotees receive from donating to the gurus. The "Word of Faith” preachers teach the absolute same thing. They not only claim we can have perfect wealth if we just do what they say, but we can also have perfect health. Here is some of what they say, right from the American gurus' mouths:; Benny Hinn: "Sickness does not belong to any of us. The Bible declares that if the Word of God is in our life, there will be health, there will be healing—divine health and divine healing. There will be no sickness for the saint of God... That means not even a headache, sinus problem, not even a toothache—nothing! No sickness should come your way.”
Does that guy never have a common cold or headache, or need a hospital? As the Bible explains, in these last days our generation will suffer at the hands of hypocritical liars whose consciences have been seared.
Here's another, Kenneth Hagin: "It is the plan of Our Father God, in His great love and in His great mercy, that no believer should ever be sick.”

It's not just similar; the core beliefs are the same. Word of Faith has taken Hindu teachings, slapped Christianese on them, and used the false teachings to defraud folks in the Christian Church. The Hindu bill of goods that these Word of Faith guys (and gals) are selling, goes something like this: You can get anything you want if you have enough belief, speak the right words, use the force of faith, send them money to get trinkets, and repeat phrases over and over. That's Hinduism! Hindus are taught to use the "God force" with mantras (repetitive chanting) to create their own reality. In fact, it’s why Hindu gurus won't help people starving to death on the side of the road; even though the guru may be driving by in an ultra-rich vehicle, just like wealthy Word of Faith preachers who brag about owning a Rolls Royce or other expensive cars? The Hindu guru drives by, ignoring the
indigent, because he claims those people are
in that situation from their own karma;
they must have committed some sin in
a past life that they're keeping secret. And
supposedly that's why they deserve this
suffering in the ditch, often until dead.
Even that evil is built into these false
teachings from the Word of Faith movement.

in the Christian Church today; just know that when you see them
on Christian television, the whole
thing is demonic. They are not
only ripping off well-meaning
(but uninformed) folks in the Church,
most often it is the poorest
Christians taken advantage of. Whether it’s Hindu gurus or
their counterparts, American
Word of Faith teachers,
the only difference is that
the latter just sprinkle Christianese
on the Hindu sales pitch.
Folks want to believe the man (or woman)
on television is going to help them
get out of their struggles,
(as he claims he will). Instead, just like the gurus in India, these guys are grabbing

Day after day, they get on television, claiming we can have a perfect life full of riches beyond our most ambitious dreams, just as the gurus in India promise Hindus. Both the Word of Faith people and Hindu gurus also promise perfect health. Still, the Church today is silent about these people in our midst. And what is the result? Second Peter tells us it brings the truth of Christianity into shameful disrepute. We must call a spade a spade! Peter speaks to us, the future Christian Church: "In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they made up.
