My meds are losing their power too I definitely need stronger but I can't go to the doctor for that ❓Also y'all know how I was l | My meds are losing their power too I definitely need stronger but I can't go to the doctor for that ❓Also y'all know how I was like blabbering about not wanting to go to the f**king surgeon bc they wouldn't do anything- yeah so I missed that appointment but not because of me 😭 A little recap for those who have no f**king idea what my dumb ass is blabbering about.. 💀 A few months back I went to a surgeon because I got referred to them by another surgeon (who couldn't do the specific kinds of surgery that was effective enough) because my doctor decided "aye bro you probably need surgery for this.." So the 2nd surgeon (the one I got referred to) was just like "eh you're fine but we'll see you again soon in case it doesn't get any better" and they prescribed me a strong ass antibiotic pill and some medicated soap to keep the area clean as possible Obviously this method didn't f**king work to solve the issue (why the f**k would it??) So I ended up having an appointment the scheduled for me And I didn't wanna go because they wouldn't do anything But nobody knew what time the appointment was anyways so I missed it Of course that's not the only appointment going badly I've had recently considered my most recent appointments were over the fact that I may or may not have PCOS which was left undiscovered for a whole like 3 years) POCS is caused by having too much testosterone in your body as a female (among other things), and genetic as well Which isn't inherently serious until the side effects kick in
About 2.5 years ago, my first side effect kicked in: metabolism imbalance. I have a very very slow metabolism. Even if I were to spend 7 hours a day nonstop working out in combination with not eating, I wouldn't lose weight. By doctor standpoint, it's nearly physically impossible to lose any weight at all.
So it's miraculous I've even been able to lose about 12 pounds in the past year (also do note, I have basically a nonexistent immune system. Immunocompromised, if you will. Hence why I wear a mask every day, I don't wanna risk anything.) So I go to a person who specializes in this disease And she's just like "I can’t actually confirm if you have this" What.
