Here are my thoughts on it; For looks, this is pretty unique. I know there's two other versions that are literally just color and equipment swaps, but you've gotta admit that purple is unique, although on the box it looks more pink. I will admit the big white feather sticking out the back of the head is kinda weird though; For weapons there's the spear you just saw, along with a beam saber and beam rifle. You can theoretically have it dual wield the spear and saber but i don't recommend it because long handled weapons don't usually hold in place very well, so you're better off just using it on its own. It has been a little while since I've posed this though so I can't quite confirm if that's the case on this; Also the beam rifle has a removable magazine. Yes this is an intentional feature, it's stored separately in the shoulder shield. Articulation is decent everywhere except the legs until you make this modification, swap B8 and its equivalent on the opposite side so that the peg is on the top rather than the bottom, it will improve articulation quite a bit and increase the height slightly. Honestly... I have mixed feelings about this kit. I mainly got it because models were 40% off and new stuff at hobby lobby is pretty rare, I originally just went there for the entry grade nu Gundam I needed for my custom. Anyway, I think I'll say 7.8/10 for this. It doesn't have very good leg articulation until you modify it, and even though it's unique it does look a bit... odd | image tagged in blank white template,gundam review | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

The REAL witch from Mercury

The REAL witch from Mercury | I got the Gundam calibarn! Here are my thoughts on it; Finally, I'm making a Gundam review. Although this isn't even close to the oldest one I've been meaning to do, I'm doing it first anyway because I simply LOVE this kit; Please note that the open hand parts I use in this review are borrowed from the Mirasoul flight unit I got for the Gundam aerial. I'm thinking of getting another just for this; I've been pretty excited to get this kit, but I just kept forgetting until now, and after having built it and spent 4 hours panel-lining it... I can confidently say my excitement was justified! As you can expect from something that's almost completely white, it is a little plain before you panel-line it, but even then it still looks REALLY good. I'll put a comparison with pre and post panel-lining in comments. Anyway, articulation is pretty good just like the aerial and aerial rebuild which this is a little similar to, but the broom rifle as I'm nicknaming it can be a little inconvenient at times. My method for difficult poses with the broom rifle is to disconnect the little arm that attaches it to the backpack, then put it into position, then mess with the arm until it reconnects and looks right. Inconvenience aside, there's also an extra feature with this that kinda goes with the feet. The back of the broom rifle can open up to act as a MASSIVE booster, and if you point the toes and line up some grey parts on the back with them it enters the "high mobility" mode, which I imagine is pretty self explanatory. With both of these you can achieve some pretty interesting poses; One of the only things that disappointed me about this is the shield. It uses the EXACT same shield as the aerial rebuild, so it has ALL of the same slot connection points. Because of this you're limited to having it face the same way the arm is pointing ALL the time, unlike the original aerial who's shield can rotate. It may not seem like a big deal but sometimes it can vastly improve any guarding poses you try to make; I got the wfm weapon stands after I put the aerial rebuild in storage, and I honestly feel lucky that I did. These things were a nightmare. I'll mainly use these in armor or shield mode, but I did that with the original aerial anyway and that didn't even need 20 different adapters like this did. Speaking of armor, tha bit-on form is actually pretty nice! One of the things that I disliked about the aerial rebuild was that the bit-on form added almost nothing to the hip armor, but this fixed that and still added some bulk to the backpack. I think it's better than both the aerial and the rebuild's bit-on forms; The shield may not have been the best, BUT these shell units are really interesting. Just like the aerial and aerial rebuild there's a pre-molded one for the top of the chest unit (you still need the sticker for the bottom/front), but there's also a pre-molded part for the V fin. There is of course still the option to use the dark transparent pieces and black stickers, but who would want that when you can have the RGB Gundam? Jokes aside I really like the shell units, and especially the V fin, it's one of the more simple ones but the translucent rainbow colors make it one of the more unique ones; Definitely one of my favorite G-witch kits so far, 9.5/10 | image tagged in gundam review | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

Kurai-tenshi is Japanese for dark angel | Just finished the gundam kurai-tenshi! Here's how it turned out; As usual, this isn't a review because rating it would feel narcissistic. Anyway, I LOVE how unique this looks, I've built dark Gundams before but I don't think I've ever built one that's just straight up black, and the matte paint really helped make it look good; It did kinda hurt my soul to not use about 80% of an RG kit but judging by the result it was VERY worth it. Getting the wings attached was pretty difficult though; The purple wasn't quite what I intended but it does help pull the design together; I didn't really change the god Gundam at all when making this so the articulation is about the same; Not much to say here, just a cool guarding pose; The god Gundam actually has a pretty nice opening part in the legs, so I hope the RG has something like it when I eventually build it; Definitely one of my best customs by this point | image tagged in gundam review | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

I couldn't finish the custom today since I couldn't find any purple paint | The armor doesn't inhibit articulation as much as you'd think it would; Now, because the meme generator glitched out earlier than I thought (yes this was originally gonna be longer) I'll only be showing the weapons I think I'll use the most often. I will show the rest in comments though. Anyway, the first one is the spear. Sure I like a good sword, and this includes a katana, but I REALLY like spears. They're a lot less common, at least in my experience. Next are these daggers/short swords. If you get two sengoku weapon sets you can combine the four of these you get into a large shuriken (ninja star); And finally the shotgun. Why? Because: *Pumps shotgun with malicious intent*; Definitely a MASSIVE improvement from the last 30 minute missions kit I built. Sorry I took so long to make this | As for the other weapon, the beam sword is pretty much identical to the master grade except for how the wire attaches. I don't remember EVERYTHING about the master grade, but for some reason I remember the wire being attached differently. The effect part also feels bigger compared to the epyon itself than the master grade, but again I don't remember every little detail. And finally, the transformation. This was FAR better than the master grade, AND my last real grade. The instructions were very clear, and I was able to do it from memory. The claws are also a bit nicer than the master grade since they can all move independently from each other, which can give you far better poses. It's a small feature, but a nice one. While I have it like this I'll point out that the wings expand better on the real grade than the master grade. On the master grade you had to pull on a REALLY tight part in the wings to make it expand, which felt like it risked breaking it. On the real grade you just rotate the wing out then these little parts come out the bottom; However, it does share an issue with the master grade. It does NOTHING to hide the original head. I can excuse this though since I'm not always gonna be using the dragon mode. Overall one of the best real grades I've built, even though it's been a while since my last good one. 9.5/10 I would LOVE to see an RG altron like this | image tagged in gundam review | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
