I support Bernie but making the leap from Bernie being a SOCIALIST to a fascist is not the point of this meme. I understand though that it could easily be viewed in the context that op is trying to compare Bernie to some of the worst mass murderers in history but I don't think that was the goal.. It could definitely be argued, though, that if the message is misinterpreted that it's on the sender to clarify/decrypt, not the receiver to decipher the meaning

The comparison is NOT whether or not he is a fascist - the challenge is whether or not "being sincere" is enough to garner a vote. Sincere IN WHAT? People have stated that they like him BECAUSE he's "sincere" and has "sincerity" - SO WHAT? If you're sincere about using the power of government to take things from your fellow citizen, I don't like the idea. This meme is not comparing their beliefs, but their sincerity.
The first character says Bernie is "sincere"
The second character points out that horrible people were also "sincere"

The point is sincerity alone, is not necessarily a good thing. In fact, the reason people seem to like Trump, is the same reason. He seems more sincere than the other republican candidates. (I said SEEMS sincere, not IS sincere)
