The Athabascan people called it "Deenaalee" meaning "the high one" or "the tall one". Other indigenous people called it other names. It was also called Doleika, Traleika, Traleyka, Denaze, Denadhe, Dengadhiy, Dinadhit, or Dghelaay Ce’e or Dghelaay Ke’e
The Russian called Bolshaya Gora (big mountain) or Tenada (great mountain)
It was also called Densmore Peak or Mountain after Frank Densmore who first saw it in 1889.
And it was also called Mount Allen.
So take your pick.
Seeing that the Athabascan people just called it the high or tall one, then it really doesn't matter if we use their word because it was just a description of the mountain, not a name.
When Biden's puppet masters renamed it Denali (an anglicized form of Deenaalee) they probably didn't know the Athabascan people were just calling it a big mountain. They probably thought it was a name and Biden's puppet masters did the politically correct thing and renamed it because white man bad.
Trump renamed it back. I seriously doubt the Athabascan people were upset. Plus there is no law against calling it Deenaalee or Denali now. You could called Humunukunukuapoa'a if you want. BTW humunukunukuapoa'a is a Hawaiian word for the Hawaii State Fish. It is also called the Reef Triggerfish. I just like saying humunukunukuapoa'a.
