You named movies not how you classify it. Both certainly blockbusters and Cinema Classics though. So they would refute the inferred contention that conservative movies aren’t blockbusters. Thanks for supporting my point.

So, a broader answer rather than a specific example would be a film that focuses on individuals over a group – often the family as the core –, the father/leader is ALWAYS right, violence as a solution, jingoism, and military service, religious faith (not just Christianity), and capitalism as a wholly positive force rather than a destructive one.

To give you an example: Pixar's The Incredibles.

This movie is very conservative with a mix of progressive ideas.

Mr Incredible is the one who makes the money (even if it's a job he hates).
He's clearly the head of the household.
Mrs Incredible/Elasta-girl gave up her career as a hero to be a stay at home mom.
The kids are told to hide what is special about them because they need to fit in with the group.
When they were heroes, it was in the service of the government.

Syndrome's plan? He wants to give everyone superpowers via technology, which the film treats as villainous. The idea being that if greatness is handed out to everyone, it stops meaning anything. (that's coded for communism being evil!!!) When everyone is special... no one will be.

It's only when the family casts off the restrictions place on it by the group – they stop being a suburban family and follow what Dad/Mr Incredible wanted and become super heroes again – are they happy and fulfilled. Violet flirts with boys. Dash is in Track. Mom & Dad are happily together.
