Have you ever considered that USA citizens that own weapons as legal personal property are
subject to the parameters explicitly detailed in the 4th and 5th amendment as individual property?

Imagine if eminent domain clause was used to free slaves, they'd have purchased their freedom rather than going to war over it and killing their neighbors.

The precedent was already set 30yrs prior in the UK, which paid off that loan in 2015

The problem with weird notions of Tim Walz, is he does not consider his neighbors human, worthy of
individual respect for their property; and wishes to make decisions about property w/o an offer of compensation for the loss of value, at a very minimum.

Yes because if they did it would have caused a giant depression and possibly a civil war (wait that sounds familiar).

Or rather prevent one. The reason why slavery was eliminated in the South was to crippled them economically and prevent them from attempting to secede again and wage civil war should it come to that. It left them dependent on the North, as they still very much are to this very day.

Also the possibility of civil war between plantation owners in Barbados, Jamaica, the Virgin Islands, etc, against Britain would have been a little bit past nil.
