I mean, if you don’t care about achievements at all then that’s great, but why leave it on for the first 10-15 minutes of your world and then just turn it off?

so that theres more risk and i usually die before finding iron

I think people should just play the game how they want, it’s literally a sandbox game. That being said, I will never understand keep inventory players, it’s a kids game at the end of the day, it’s not difficult and the whole point of survival mode is to survive so it kinda defeated the purpose

I’m not saying only kids play it, I’m one of those people who believes this game is for everyone, but it’s difficulty and gameplay are designed to be easily doable by children

Yeah that’s fair, hard difficulty doesnt really make it too challenging though, like it’s still the same gameplay

well, there's a lot of really stupid ways to die in minecraft and personally i do a lot of traveling in game, so i prefer not to lose everything whenever i die gar from my base

Yeah, if you have all the achievements as well then you should absolutely turn it on if you need/prefer it

Keep inventory is not a cheat, it is just another way to play the game. I for one play my worlds not allowing myself to die in the void because I believe it is not a fair way to die. The whole point of dropping your items in minecraft is so you can go get them back, some people just don’t want to waste hours searching when they could be building or doing whatever they find fun in their worlds.

When I was young and scared of dying (aka I was trash at fighting) I put on keep inventory

I don’t really like keep inventory but people hate on it too much

Honestly, I prefer keep inventory since I die a lot, but I also play in peaceful as well...
