I do think it needed armor and tools, but there should be some reason to use it. Leather boots let you walk on powdered snow, gold gear lets you avoid piglins, and all the other gear besides chainmail fits into the progression. I just think they should add some unique trait, like make the armour oxidize over time which could increase its durability and maybe even defense

This is so true. I saw so many people hating marathon before it even released. After playing the game, it’s actually pretty bad imo but you can’t know that just by watching the trailer

sorry, I thought by trash Roblox updates you were talking about age verification. But if you don’t know, Roblox, Minecraft, discord and a lot of other companies are going to force you to upload a picture of your face (in some cases your entire id) just to use some features. Obviously this is a big problem
