Yes, but that may have just been an ironic coincidence. I think it was mostly about self-righteous and vigorous middle-class leftist virtue-signaling. They went to George and Alex Soros sponsored leftist courses on how to be nation-hating radical leftist agitators . . . and so the specific cause didn't really matter to them. The rest is history.

I've been living the truism of "be careful what you wish for, you may just get it" with a significant other, I hope the day never comes because we'll all be on the wrong end of it but sometimes I wish for the loudmouth American women leftists to wake up in a Burqa one day and see just how far thier free speech gets them at that point.

How are they oppressed in this country? Dont make me laugh. They need to go somewhere that real oppression exists and then come back kissing the ground to be here, not spitting on it because they seem to think they're living thier own little version of the handmaids tale. A person doesn't know what hot is until they've felt cold, they dont know what hungry is until they've been full, they dont know what real oppression is because they've never experienced it.

The left has no heroes, so they have to invent them and provide a back story. They always get caught lying, they are shockingly bad at it considering how much practice they get. Their real problem is they have no one worthy to pick from. A bunch of angry basement dwellers with a lifetime record of failures doesn't allow them much to work with.
