Yes he was. He was wrong to say what he said. Our leftists were making a meal of that until I pointed out to them what Barack Obama said to TRY and poison the jury pool and intimidate a judge regarding Trayvon Martin and a fantasy son. For some reason they did not like that.
All sitting presidents can open mouth and insert foot up to the knee on occasion. It happens.
At least Trump didn't fake his opinion or feelings about Reiner like way too many public figures tend to do. Granted he could've used some tact though and said something like "Did I like Rob? Absolutely not! Am I glad this happened to him? Absolutely not! He is a murder victim and deserves justice."
Yes, that would have been the classy thing to say. But he apparently was having one of those days. The thing about critics of sitting presidents is that they focus on one issue that happened that day rather than take in that he might have been wrestling with all sorts of important and perhaps frustrating issues all day long. I'm not excusing him. But there may be reasons why he flubbed this one. Also Trump didn't train to be a politician.
By trying to figure out how to vote yes or yes to paying for Obamacare?
I mean, they had that sack of nuts right in the box that they wanted it, and now they rescuing it. And this is after Trump of all people told them to.
