Immigrants - People who come to a country but are not legally recognized as legal citizens of a country at first.

Legal Immigrants - People who are immigrants and follow all the rules and laws to become a legal citizen of a country.

Illegal Immigrants - People who are immigrants but disobey and break the rules and laws of the country they are in while immediately expecting the benefits and rights legal immigrants bust their asses for.

Illegal immigrants specifically break laws to enter and/or remain in the country. By definition they are all criminals.

The main difference is the dims do not pay the legal immigrants to come, provide help to cover up their crimes and protest if they do get arrested.
