There is no such thing as right wing terrorism. It doesn't exist. There is no right wing version of Antifa. The right has never rioted and looted like the left has.
The Jan 6th, 2021 riot happened because Democrats orchestrated a riot by telling the Capitol police to fire flash grenades and rubber bullets at a peaceful group of conservative protestors. It is all on video. I saw the video. It is very clear what was happening. The crowd was not in anyway threatening anyone. They were not rioting. But when the Capitol police opened fire the FBI was in the crowd to direct the panicking crowd into the Capitol building where the majority of them just wandered around looking at stuff, like tourists. Yes, there were some who caused damage to the building but I would not be surprised if those were FBI agents.
They needed to stage this as conservative violence and label it as an insurrection. An insurrection that was caused by Trump so that they could use the 14th amendment against him. They failed.
There clearly was no insurrection because no one was armed and it was just a subset of the total group. If it was a real insurrection then the entire group would have shown up armed to the teeth ready to run congress out on a rail. Nothing even close to an insurrection.
Political violence in this country has always come from the left. Bill Ayers, with his Weather Underground wanted to foment a violent communist revolution. His group bombed the Capitol Building twice. He tried to get Hillary Clinton to join him but she wanted to cause the revolution from inside the government.
There is just no way you can look at the history of this country from the 20th century until present and honestly say that conservatives are more violent. It is just flat out wrong.
The only think close were the handful of Christians who bombed abortion clinics but that was a drop in the ocean compared to the violence of the left.
When I attended Tea Party events, I remember how the media was just chomping at the bit wanting to report the "violent tea party" but they just couldn't because we weren't.
The theater shooting in Colorado a several years ago, the got the name of the shooter and immediately reported that the shooter had associated with the Tea Party. They were joyous but then they found out that the Tea Party guy just had the same name as the shooter and the shooter turned out to be just another radical leftist homicidal psychopath like all of the others.
