No, you need to go see a doctor if it's burning. Because nothing what he said was true.

Crayon scribble book | There are more sources of information than the Democrat Coloring Book | image tagged in crayon scribble book | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
You can't prove this wrong

I literally did. You can read all about it on this .gov site pdf: https://www.fhwa.dot.gov/environment/cfi/grant_recipients/round_1b/cfi-awardees-project-description-table_round_1b.pdf

The federal government didn't build any of them. They've all been built by the states.

That is the correct assessment, so why don't you you utilize any?

You have said numerous times that used to work for the government. Until Clinton DOGEd you out. You know very well how to access such information. So whatever errors you 'accidentally' post are clearly intentional.

Wow, 7, huh? The last time this came up it was 8. I guess when you're making shit up, you lose count of how many magical stations the Biden administration did or didn't build, huh?

You can stick with your breathless faux-outrage or you can have some facts.

The facts are that the law gave $5 billion to all 50 states to build EV stations and charging ports. You can read it here: https://www.fhwa.dot.gov/infrastructure-investment-and-jobs-act/nevi_formula_program.cfm

So, the federal government didn't build anything. Each of the states were responsible for building stations using their policies and procedures. In fact, they had to submit detailed plans on where the charging stations would be, the environmental impact, and to make sure that the power infrastructure could handle it.

You know, making sure the stations were actually useful instead of being out in the middle of nowhere and unusable.

As of 2024, 13 states had completed 37 new charging stations with over 280 ports.

So...maybe next time you go verify some facts before getting all up in your feelings?

Hmmm. I read the meme very, very carefully and it says "7 or 8" DOT reports only "7 or 8" were built, that ain't shit and it ain't made up.. Must still be planning the other 30, and states building them as their own initiative. Oh well. And maybe, just maybe "actually useful instead of being out in the middle of nowhere and unusable" might be where EVs run out of charge. Snicker. Yeah, yeah, yeah, the states also have their own EV charging station initiatives not using federal funding. Just saying it twice.
I worked at the Nevada Test Site when Obama Admin bought the majority of General Motors EVs for govt use. They were in the motor pool, but most had less than 1000 miles on them because most of the operations were 60-100 miles north of the motor pool. You could check one out drive to your worksite and not have enough charge to get back to Mercury. There was no electricity available at most worksites and if there was a generator the vehicle wouldn't recharge enough in 8 hours to get you back. People got stuck once and never used them again. So funny, saving the planet by not even using them. I know, I know old technology until evil Elon came along and did it right. Kill him!!!!
Bottom line communist thugs are stirring up trouble by burning Teslas, vandalizing Tesla dealerships, destroying Tesla charging stations all to protest Elon's work on exposing fraud, waste and abuse of taxpayers money. I'm sure you would rather have corrupt politicians filling their bank accounts with your share of the taxes, right? I mean you only exchange irreplaceable hours of your life for dollars, so the party of slavery is entitled to part of what you earn.
Just like commies in the 60s, burn baby burn.

So you think the range of an EV is the same as cars from whenever you worked in Nevada? What models where they? Let's go look them up then compare them to today's EVs for range.

Also, Elon didn't "do it right". He bought his way into that company, and then when the actual founders were forced out, he called himself the founder of Tesla.

He's a nepo baby that used his money to buy companies.

Were all 50 states given an equal share of the $5 Billion ? Or was it allocated by US Congressional representation by poplulation ? Would a small population state under 2 Million citizens
get the same amount as say California with 40 Million citizens ?

Regardless, 37 stations for the price of $5 Billion spent; amounts to :$135M each
and with the 280 ports could be narrowed to the $5 Billion spent resulting in
roughly $18M per port realized.

Of course, that ignores the other amounts given to 37 states that have nothing but schemes to show for their share of the expenses, and zero charging stations with zero ports.

Without that breakdown, it's a challenge to acquire the firm numbers of what benefit the taxpay recv'd.

So, that information is publicly available (since it's the federal government). You can read through the various applicants, their projects, and the projected costs here: https://www.fhwa.dot.gov/environment/cfi/grant_recipients/round_1b/cfi-awardees-project-description-table_round_1b.pdf

And they haven't exhausted the fund yet. So, it's more than 37 stations. These things take time, because it's state, local, and corporate entities having to coordinate.

Just using your numbers provided. Thanks for citing a source that can be verified.
"...and corporate entities having to coordinate."

...corporate entities like Tesla

The one size fits all, centralized approach to this is folly.
The source of raw materials used to create electricity matters.

Why is there so little resistance by the oil companies? Maybe it's because it's easier to centralize their deliveries to one Oil Fired power plant, than thousands of individual gas stations?
All while keeping the smog out of Urban cities, and locating the Coal Fired Power Plants
in rural areas where the pollution has less effect upon large populations of humans? Maybe.
Energy still is a one to one correlation, and they aren't building any new hydroelectric facilities, but may be battery banking electricity into new facilities they are building to save production during non peak use.

As usual, smaller states probably get more than their fair share proportionate to their population. Goodness, even the parking lots at their supermarkets are way nicer than what we got here. Ever see NYC on the news? Have you ever seen sidewalks like that in a smaller state? And they're utilized by more people in a single day than total people use those sidewalks in a year.
