I think these leftists now consider multi-millionaires to be nothing more than middle class.

Pretty sure Kamala is a milkionaire as well.

Not a typo.

The alteration is to evoke a chuckle and illustrate how the people are treated like dairy cattle.

Buying a coin a week give you a better chance at wealth than buying a lottery ticket.

I am doing ok; the coins were a way to let my idiot relative (inspiration for Tommy's mom) that I support Trump

The average person has this weird false expectation that you buy a stock or a coin and BANG, you get wealthy the next day.

If it fails, by the time it is worthless it would amount to little more than you having thrown a few pennies into the street every day.

There are people that spend more on a few drinks at a club on Friday evening than you spent on a Trump coin...and they wanna talk about pissing away money 😄

If you are still working at a minimum wage job 15 years later, then you have to ask yourself why are you such a dumbass to have not managed to improve your lot in life

There is that.

So only the rich people that earned it legally are the problem now?

To closet Marxists (our leftists) they always have been.

The real minimum wage is zero. Eliminate the minimum wage.

What good is $50/hr minimum wage with either hours reduced or possibly no job at all because businesses can’t afford to employ at those rates?

FDR started minimum wage because blacks and Chinese were working for less than whites. He put it in at 25 cents. Wanted it so high that people would might as well hire a white person. Fact. Minimum wage is systematic racism, and every time it is raised it hurts people of color most. Abolish the biggest form of government systematic racism.

I believe it was Dr. Walter Williams who said “Minimum wage laws are the greatest tool in the arsenal of racists.”

Absolutely right, he explains it very well

You would be EVIL . . . that is if you were a conservative; and that's what all this leftist crying about wealth amounts to when all is said and done. They don't have any problems with wealthy leftists.

Did you miss the "eat the rich" messages? Did you miss the tax the rich plans?

It seems like you missed all of that.

Once there was a tax put on luxury yachts which only tie rich would pay as only they could afford one. Sounded like a great idea to tax the rich that wouldn’t affect middle and lower classes, with the best of intentions? What could possibly go wrong?

As it turns out, while wealthy people buy the taxes yachts, the people who make them are usually lower and middle class workers. When rich people reconsidered purchasing them so as to not have to pay a tax many of these workers lost their jobs.

Nothing new. In the book Les Miserables (1862) it explains the “Window and door” Tax. Even then it was felt that, Rich people should pay more. Poor people boarded up their windows. Hence the slogan “air is no longer free”.

I’m aware of Democrat Socialists anti-capitalism propaganda and messaging. Not enough room for them all.

Taking money from rich people through taxes, delays the middle class future necessities. Rich people need to spend their money on frivolous unnecessary things. Rich people did not need televisions, cars, telephones, air conditioning, air travel, home commuters, car phones, and much more. When they wasted money on these things, all of which were not needed at the time, technology advanced. These things are now all indispensable for the middle class. What future items would be delayed by taxing the rich.

The baubles you mentioned are pacifiers.

Fat, sick, entertained, dependent, people are easily controlled.

That is why the US has such a fierce fighting force.

Who wants to be conquered and have to walk everywhere, wear left over Harris campaign shirts, carry water from a communal well, crap into a hole in the ground, build your house of tin, tarps, and cardboard...besides the street junkies?

Minimum wage never gets one ahead unless it is a kid or a second job.

Minimum wage goes up and all prices go up in relation.

I cannot wrap my head around it being racist. Perhaps initially as you explained, but today?

I would need further evidence to convince me of that.

Check out Dr. Walter Williams’ work on racism and the minimum wage, or perhaps Milton Friedman and Thomas Sowell.

I will.

Thomas Sowell is pretty straightforward.

I can lend an ear to his opinions.

But that question was directed at the leftist liberal useful contrarian.

"You" personally.

Then "you" communally.
0 ups, 4w
What do I personally get? A better funded education system for my children. Better funded infrastructure (like safe bridges etc) that is well maintained. But not much more than that on a personal level.

However, on a broader scale we get a better educated populace. Children are able to get at least 2 nutritious meals (breakfast & lunch), a better education, better healthcare, better communities, more people are lifted out of poverty, investment into our own futures rather than clinging to the things that don't work anymore.
