Its because we live ina society that has become the "believe women no matter what" , Even when there is no phsyical evidence - nothing left of any kind of proof of any kind of assault, we have to believe her . That is why dems use this tactics of 30 year old rape victims speaking out - We need legislation that imprisons women for lying about rape. 85% of the accusations would stop.

You should spend some time and look at how women are treated when they do come forward. And that will explain why they don't come forward right away.
