They are playing it safe, democrats always had deep ties with the unions, if they came out and endorsed Trump and trump lost, that would be an awkward situation for the union in the future.

Teamsters president chickened out and chose to not endorse either candidate.

Yes, the corrupt Teamsters' leadership has already essentially announced that they are ignoring it by in turn refusing to officially endorse Trump as a union. Since the leadership will only officially endorse Democrats for the presidency, it has decided for the first time in nearly thirty years to make no official endorsement for president at all.

Karma will smack them; weak leaders only inspire revolt. I worked in a union plant and joined the military to get out from under it, jobs were scarce, and they thought they owned us.

Considering the teamsters have been in bed with the mafias since their inception with Jimmy Hoffa that’s no surprise.

But this meme was promoting Teamsters leaning Trump as a good thing...

The rank and file are just working class men and women, the leadership has been in bed with mobsters.

But it's the locals in PA that have endorsed Harris. Are you really needing to pretend that doesn't mean anything?

Local leadership endorsed her, remember the rank and file in the main union was 60 / 30 for Trump.

You better hope those demographics match in PA.

I been a union member for quite a long time, if you think Union workers are going to vote for someone that has been threatening thier jobs for her entire political career .. that is a big error in judgement.

• Trump made it easier for employers to fire or penalize workers who speak up for better pay and working conditions or exercise the right to strike.

• Trump promised to veto the PRO Act and the Public Service Freedom to Negotiate Act, historic legislation that will reverse decades of legislation meant to crush private sector unions and shift power away from CEOs to workers.

• Trump has restricted overtime pay, opposed wage increases, and gutted health and safety protections.

• Trump changed the rules about who qualifies for overtime pay, making more than 8 million workers ineligible and costing them over $1 billion per year in lost wages.

• Trump reduced the number of OSHA inspectors so that there are now fewer than at any time in history, and weakened penalties for companies that fail to report violations.

• Trump threatened to veto legislation that would raise the minimum wage to $15 per hour.

• Trump’s Secretary of Labor, Eugene Scalia, is an anti-worker, union-busting corporate lawyer who aggressively defended Cablevision’s decision to fire 22 workers when they tried to win a contract with CWA.

None of that equates to ending jobs, When someone campaigns to end fracking and you spent your whole life in that job, you are not going to vote for them. That is the long and the short of it.
