Those groups immigrated, they didn’t invade and each of them was subject to derision when they arrived and lived in their ethnic neighborhoods until they by and large assimilated. Including the Irish, Polish, Italians etc. doesn’t much matter where they come from, but how they get here and who they are does.
It’s typical for you to somehow find racism in everything. It’s not racist to not want unvetted illegal aliens in huge numbers entering your country to prey on its citizens. It’s the federal governments responsibility to make sure criminals and terrorists don’t come in.
