President Donald Trump's policy was to bring US troops back home and stop getting involved in foreign conflicts. He questioned the purpose of NATO.
1 up, 7d
And NATO is stronger because of it. Member nations are actually paying their required dues. Thank you for that, and so much more, President Trump.

Trump even warned Germany not to be so reliant on Russian gas, but naturally they didn't listen. He was, of course, roasted in the press for saying that. Trump is usually right; so they should have listened.

That's a fair criticism. Too bad Trump didn't have a chance to fully implement his foreign policy in the middle east. Now Biden has the place so fcuked up that even Trump may not be able to fix it.
1 up, 6d
Haahaha the only way he would FIX IT would be to take More saudi money!!!

Hahahaha, ya that was Joe Biden disaster. He wasn’t bound to follow any agreement and he effed it up royally. Are you calling that withdrawal a success? That was all owned by your dementia in chief puppet.

No, turning over Afghanistan to the Taliban was an agreement signed by the Trump Administration, which is you can see was very thoroughly orchestrated by Trump. He also authorized the release of 5,000 Taliban terrorists as a 'good faith' gesture.

Ironically, if Trump was your president, your country wouldn't be at war now.

As stated before, Biden did not have to do anything. But of course he has to show he's the smartest guy in the room (he is... just ask him) and proceed with his own botched, poorly planned and obviously poorly executed disaster of a plan.

13 US service members died because of that.

That's blood on Biden's hands, not Trump.

You can spin and spin and spin until you're as dizzy as a democrat, but the facts do not change just because modda thinks they should.

Far more than 13 US servicemen died under trump. How about some crocodile tears for them?

So you think Biden withdrawal was a success then? 😂 How about when he bobbed that family I. Retaliation 😂 Biden a joke a defending his incompetence reflects poorly.

🤔 I had to read that mess a few times to get what you meant but assuming I guessed correctly........

Zero more US servicemen will die there, so in that aspect the withdrawal was a success. You could clearly say it was chaotic, complain about the equipment, HOW it got done, etc but at the end of the day we are no longer at war there.

The accidental bombing/drone strike is more or less the same as the US servicemen deaths.... Tragic.... but nobody on the right seemed to care until Biden got in office.

And if Afghani civilian bombings is an issue that particularly concerns you well once again... zero more of those should be happening considering the war is over.

So you support Trumps idea to get out of the Aphganistan forever war? And accept Biden botched it. I guess we agree.

In 2021, the very first year of his very first term, President Biden was able to bring the ugly Afghanistan war to its conclusion. He has done a great service to the country bringing closure to 2 decades of death even while in the midst of trying to end a pandemic in this great nation. Inarguably, President Joseph R. Biden is a closer. Having pulled our brave men and women out of that mess, he has successfully done what 3 former presidents failed to. And for that... we thank you.

But he botched it and gave up too much. Lives, equipment bases and prestige.

"But he botched it and gave up too much."

We killed far, far more of them than they did of us. I mean we still lost but idk what you expected. We basically removed their government from power and attempted to convert them into a democracy.

I read somewhere it took Russia about 2 years to pack up all their equipment and leave. If that's what it would've taken us to do it that way (and however many more billions of dollars and possible lives lost in the process) I'm glad we went with the speedier route.

Thanks again President Biden!

And despite that, there was still plenty of Soviet arms then ended up circulating amongst the warring factions in the civil war we created and left Afghanistan in, as well as those provided by Ronald Reagan.

I support and appreciate Biden finishing what Trump and the 2 presidents before him didn't have the balls to.

Trump killed more civilians with drones in Somalia that bush and Obama combined. Mind you, that's 4 vs 16 yrs. Then he started pulling troops out near the end of his presidency.

Trump pulled US soldiers from northern Syria at the request of Turkey's Erdogan so they can bomb the Kurdish soldiers that were fighting ISIS for us that Trump was taking credit for.

Trump and the joint military exercises with South Korea at the request of North Korean Kim Jong-un. Trump wanted to pull American soldiers out of the DMZ. Love Letters to Kim, can't wait till that book gets published.

Forget the withdrawal from Iraq, on the eve of the war with Iran Trump craved for so many years? Assassinated the Iranian General that led the fight against ISIS for us. And then when Iran bombed Iraqi barracks American soldiers were stationed at in retaliation,
Trump claimed he had pulled them out the day before.
Then when it turned out that didn't happen,
Trump said none were hit.
Then when it turned out that didn't happen,
Trump said none were hurt.
Then it wouldn't turn out that didn't happen,
Trump said that the brain injuries they sustained were merely headaches.
Headaches. That's all they got from a percussion bombing strike. Headaches.

And just like that, Trump's little war with Iran ended with Trump pulling the troops out for real this time and running. Like Reagan did in Lebanon.

How many years till we find out how many American servicemen actually died that night?

So what. Trump had a stay in Mexico agreement and Biden trashed that. And we will never know if the withdrawal under Trump would have been botched so badly as it was under Dementia Joe and stinkin Blinkin. Smart money bet is it wouldn’t have nor would we have likely left working equipment. Apparently you’re confused again thinking New York slums are the only America. It’s a big country and New York Democrats are its enemies.
1 up, 4d,

Trump had the Taliban stay in Mexico?

Biden delayed the withdrawal schedule by Trump by 2 months.

The rushed deadline was intentional. Equipment left behind was left behind intentionally. If we didn't want it left behind, it wouldn't have been left behind. Most were left to the Afghan military, the rest were disabled. And even those the Taliban took when the Afghan soldiers ran are high maintenance and difficult to operate. These are not guns that could simply be picked up and pull the trigger and bingo. They neither have the ability to use nor maintain them. That's why they haven't done diddly with them. Because they can't.

That’s a kool aid drinkers version. Oh none of those weapons worked, duh seems American weapons that were left are showing up on Kashmir and other Islamist flash points. I guess some figured out how to make them work and magically made the ammo fire. What an ignorant take.
1 up, 4d,
1 reply
Because the Taliban just simply stuck tanks and helicopters on a transport plane and flew them over to Kashmir because they didn't have any use for them themselves, and all they got to do is just press the ON button and they're set to go?

Yup, makes sense.

Please post where I said tanks and helicopters? Bet you can’t. You can deny that small arms and ammunition left behind are being supplied to jihadists elsewhere but you would be wrong again.
1 up, 7d
Biden gave it back. Trump's plan for giving it back was replaced with Demented Joe Bribe-em's plan for giving it back, which naturally imploded.

13 U.S. service members died because of him.

Sadly, that's just a tiny bit of the blood Biden and the Dims have on their hands.

Modda, don't post BS like that. No one can read it. Either make a logical, well-thought-out argument or don't. Stop posting white noise. That's just lazy.
