"The Republicans have been promising to repeal Obama Care and replace it with... absolutely nothing."
That ship has sailed. It's a dead issue. I can't imagine the benefit of bringing it up now.
I won't defend republicans, period. They could fcuk up a wet dream. Although tbf (a concept foreign to libs) the dems didn't get anything done when they had a super slim majority in the house either.
"The Republicans on social security? It's all about how they're going to end it."
Why do you think that? What has Trump said that makes you think that? Wait... don't tell me you saw it on some web site somewhere? Oh, in that case it must be true.
"Homelessness? You have to pull yourself up by your bootstraps! Litereally no legislation on helping with homelessness. Not even for homeless vets."
Maybe we can agree on the homeless vets. The difference between me and a lib is that I don't believe, not even a tiny bit, that "legislation" or the govt is in any way capable of solving the problem. So why throw more money at it? Here in Taxifornia, every election we have a ballot measure that promises to end the homeless problem once and for all. Yet, we still have the problem. So clearly, money, legislation, or govt is not the answer.
"Which party wants to end SNAP? Who wants to end medicare and medicaide? It's not the Democrats"
I hadn't heard that the republicans want to end SNAP. Tighten it up, reduce fraud, reduce lifelong dependency, yes. Those should be non-partisan issues, IF democrats cared about actually helping people, instead of creating a dependent class, which is clearly their preference.
"If you want those services- Stop Voting for Republicans."
I probably won't vote republican (especially once Trump finishes his second term) but I sure as hell want those "services" to be run efficiently and help people, instead of making them dependent on govt.
