in all honesty - both parties feed the industrial war machine, A great example is Ukraine and Israel, Democrats want never neding funding for Ukraine and republicans want never ending funding to Israel.

It's because the Repubilcan party votes all that stuff down or completely hollows out any departments when they're in charge of the house & senate.

One big problem with dems is that if something is going up each year, the actual rate... as in last year it went up 3% and this year it's going to go up 5%. But if it's proposed to have it only go up 3% again this year, dems call it a cut. That's just bullshit.

Maybe we can agree on the homeless vets. The difference between me and a lib is that I don't believe, not even a tiny bit, that "legislation" or the govt is in any way capable of solving the problem. So why throw more money at it? Here in Taxifornia, every election we have a ballot measure that promises to end the homeless problem once and for all. Yet, we still have the problem. So clearly, money, legislation, or govt is not the answer.

I hadn't heard that the republicans want to end SNAP. Tighten it up, reduce fraud, reduce lifelong dependency, yes. Those should be non-partisan issues, IF democrats cared about actually helping people, instead of creating a dependent class, which is clearly their preference.

I probably won't vote republican (especially once Trump finishes his second term) but I sure as hell want those "services" to be run efficiently and help people, instead of making them dependent on govt.

the OP brought up healthcare, so bringing it up now is perfectly fine. The Republican party has no plan to bring people cheaper or easier access to healthcare. None.
