Leftists accuse the opposition of doing exactly what they are doing. For example, Republicans are to blame for the open border because they didn't vote for a spending bill that would do nothing to secure the border.

That and it essentially would have made the many millions of unvetted illegals, that Biden had already let into the nation, legally permanent residents. "Unreasonable" is the the key word here - it's not and has never been unreasonable in the United States to seize the property of a criminal convicted of fraud.

I'm not a lawyer. All I see are Leftists trying to stop Trump from becoming President by preventing the law. As I understand it, there is no precedence for this case. The loan was paid back on time and in full. The bank decides the value of assets before offering a loan. The bank did not complain. There was no fraud. This case will not stand up. It will be struck down like all the rest because none of them have any substance.

Explain in detail what Trump is guilty of according to Letitia James. Who else has ever been convicted of similar charges with a bond of over $400 million. Bet you won't because you are afraid I'm right.

Over the course of decades he defrauded lenders by inflating the value of his properties in order to get loans he never had the collateral to secure.

The fact that he received the loans established a price for those assets that his band of lawyers would then contest.

Then, when unable to keep up with the payments on those loans, he would do it all over again, bank after bank, manipulating the system through fraudulent valuations and comps.

You're likely correct no one else has been charged with doing this, but then who has ever flaunted their criminality as a virtue as Trump does? These are unprecedented crimes, therefore so are the securities required to appeal his being ruled liable for them.

Banks decide the value of your assets when you take out a loan. It doesn't matter what Trump thinks his assets are worth. The loan was paid back in full and on time. There was no fraud.

Man....this is during the discovery prior to judgement. Trump has completed the judgement phase, and is in the appeal process. No the 4th amendment does not apply.

The "People" are rising up against the establishment. They support Trump because he is fighting the establishment. Both Parties, the deep state, and the media are afraid Trump will win and take away their power. Tucker Carlson predicted they would try to assassinate Trump. I don't doubt it. The establishment is desperate to stop this populous revolt at any cost.

Republics don't inherently have checks and balances either - those exist because we're a constitutional republic.

A constitutional democracy also has checks and balances - what it doesn't feature is a broken system of apportionment that's been purposely corrupted to install a minority party into a permanent majority.
