Nurses aren't in any way struggling working class people

Nurses aren't in any way struggling working class people | How hard people think a nurse's job is; Lots of people's lives depend on me. I work thanklessly and no one cares. How hard a nurse's job actually is; This job sure is easy. I get paid $70,000 a year just to plug in machines for the doctor and I even get 30 days paid vacation time. And I have plenty of time to make TikToks and got to lunch with my friends. | image tagged in nurses, healthcare, jobs, work, employment | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

It's old school nurse vs new school nurse these days. A cellphone shouldn't be allowed into the floor, or used to tick tock at work especially for a nurse. Most of these young nurses think they know it all, but come to find they don't when a old school nurse finds all the mistakes and has to write them up. This is more the case in nursing homes. But still it's a hard job. I'm surprised the government hasn't taken it over like they did the railroad... Refusing to pay nursing homes because they want all RNS on call 24/7 is outlandish. And I personally think they should be paid based on years of experience. Starting out at 40k and increasing 10 k per year. That way you don't get lazy nurses starting out just for the money.

Cell phones while sitting at their assigned mobile charting stations is nonstop. Way out of hand.

Funny . . . I am forced to be around them all the damn time, and a harder working and consistently professional bunch of people it would be difficult to find. I have a lot less use for M.D.s than I have for the nursing profession.

My pick of the hardest working people in any hospital - the cleaning staff.

They get their a***s run off. Wiping up the nastiest filth on earth.

I'd quit in a second.

Aye; I'm a fan of technicians as well. As noted, pretty much everyone below the designation of M.D.s Mind you, I don't despise medical doctors. They simply put me off.

During the "global emergency" known as covid, we were lead to believe that nurses have it the hardest but a lot of them were always making tiktoks and goofing off on the job and besides, I knew a girl who I knew back in highschool and she works a nurse and she didn't seem stressed out at all during covid, she actually hung out with her friends all the time even during the lockdowns and she also went on vacation a lot of the time even during covid so "pandemic hero" my ass.

I have an aunt who is a nurse since forever. I asked her about covid and how hospitals should react to the whole thing. She said the truth without saying the truth if you know what I mean.

What do you mean?

That was because the hospitals were largely empty.

In my region every hospital laid off around 90% of their registered nurses for pretty nigh a year.

If there is anyone who has the hardest job, it's freelancers. Even minimum wage workers have it easier than freelancers: imgflip.com/i/871q23

But can't a freelancer sue if the other party breaches the contract like that?

Theoretically if they had enough money to retain a lawyer but since their clients don't pay them anything in the first place, they can barely afford food or rent therefore retaining a lawyer is completely out of the question.

I found the Mayo Clinic nurses very helpful while dealing with my prostate cancer. I'll be forever in their debt.

Yeah, when they're not posting tiktoks about it and embarrassing you on the internet posting about your medical issues.

You you even know any Mayo Clinic nurses?
3 ups, 11mo
No but if you say that Mayo Clinic nurses did a great job for treating your cancer I suppose the Mayo Clinic is a more professional work environment that doesn't allow nurses to goof off on the job making Tiktoks.
