If people knew what they a) weren't being told, and b) being lied to about, they should (would?) be outraged.
It's the sheeple's fault though. On the whole we're WAY too lazy to put any effort into finding out the truth.
I get it. Growing up, the media was trusted. I used to make fun of them for their post-debate analysis (as in, I don't need them to tell me what I just watched, so I never watched) and also when they had to go on the air live, unscripted, like after an earthquake. Quite the show!
But then in the debates leading up to the 2016 election I started to pay attention to what they were saying about Trump after a debate. They mostly lied; telling us he had said things he didn't. But they were nuanced and subtle. But all it took was paying attention. Quite the eye opening and liberating experience!
You can do it too. Just do a bit of work to find out what they're not telling you. And pay *close* attention to what they tell you. They lie constantly to suit their agenda.
