They are going to keep raising the prices on these things, and taxing the shit out of them, until people submit to using electric. This is actual extortion by the Biden government.

Actually they have to follow federal regulations or they get fined and lose revenue.

So, what you’re really saying is that I should blame all of the grid problems & rolling blackouts here in California on Gavin Newsom.

Deflection. You’re really good at that. You’re horrible at statistics, but excellent at deflection. I don’t know why some women only want to fight? You win again, lady. I’m wrong and you’re right.

It's just tons of fun watching liberals defend Dementia Joe being attacked with the same tactics they used when they attacked Trump.

It would be....................... if that made sense.

ALL the criticisms MAGAts hurl at Biden were used on Trump only a gazillion times (and they usually don't even apply).
Their collected creative asses can't come up with one single oiginal bit on their own?

The only thing green they are more concern about is the money, not the earth.

Texas is huge. Why don't they build 10 nuclear plants to power the entire country?

"Earlier this week Texas grid operator ERCOT (Electric Reliability Council of Texas) asked residents to reduce energy usage amid a sweltering heat wave to avoid rolling blackouts.

ERCOT manages electric power to more than 26 million Texas customers and represents 90% of the state’s electric load, according to the company.

Temperatures soared to 115+ degrees with the heat index in parts of Texas on Thursday amid an excessive heat warning.

ERCOT issued the voluntary conservation notice due to extreme temperatures, forecasted high demand AND LOWER RESERVES DUE TO LOW WIND GENERATION.

The wind turbines aren’t producing enough energy.

Texas electricity prices surged 6,000% and are climbing toward the $5,000 price cap, according to data from ERCOT."

Right now in SoCal, a bunch of EV owners are shitting a brick thinking what if the power goes out because of Hurricane Clinton?

In Palm Springs they give you a choice to pay more if you use their green energy... What a deal... LOL

"if the "power goes out" gas pumps don't work."

But a full tank of gas will work, whether the power is on or off. (yes... it's a very limited supply)

Plus, pumps can work with a generator supplying the electricity, much the way we keep water systems pressured when the power is off.

Y'all been duped 🙁🇺🇲

They ain't called the Lonestar state for nothing.

The national grid can't handle what's already connected to it.

I’ve lived here in Texas for a long long time, and the only “blackout” I experienced was during the severe freezing temps a couple of years ago.
That’s it. No others.

I remember that. It was ice coating breaking lines not overload

You are absolutely correct…plus, the super-neato green energy wind-turbines froze. Plus, we were up and running in my neck of the woods in 4 days. Plus, since I am an outdoorsman, it was kinda like camping… I had all the provisions, propane heater, water, and cold weather clothing to make it quite enjoyable. No big deal.

Or am i thinking of somewhere else?

What, pray tell, would the megawatt shortages be for everybody on the "national grid" if you tie in Texas?

Not enough + not enough = plenty ?

Sounds like the usual LLD math.

California's year round blackouts, brown outs, rolling blackouts, rolling brownouts....hardly a model of sufficiency to champion the national grid.

And California with all those wind farms no less 🙁🇺🇲

So you point out that California does not have its own grid, a tacit acknowledgement we have a lot of energy problems here, which we do, yet recommend Texas join the national grid. What could go wrong?

Nothing screams 'force people to buy electric cars' like admitting the grid can't keep up with current demands, especially air conditioning demands.
