1. It's a hemisphere.
2. South America was the first dubbed "America."
3. The USA is NOT a nation, it's a federation of nations.
4. Referring to the USA as a nation was a custom that started with big centralized GOP Lincoln.
5. Referring to it as such was purposely intended to psychologically strip the multiple nations in the federation from any notion of sovereignty they had.
