His intentions are not in question.

He was accosted and did nothing wrong.

Getting sworn into office surrounded by a razor wire fortress and military isn't a good look. In fact, it looks more like a coup than what the media has tried to portray Jan.6 as.

He was protesting what he believed to be election fraud. That is not treason. Even if there wasn't election fraud, he has a right to protest it. He may be guilty of trespassing, but when the doors are intentionally opened to allow a crowd in, that's questionable at best. You could probably argue for a charge of disorderly conduct, but that's about it.

No. He was demanding that the presidential ceremony be cancelled to declare somebody else president. It was not that long ago - we all remember that day. The courts already threw out the cases 70 times for lack of evidence - what you were demanding that day was to skip the proof of fraud and change the government regardless.

First off, I wasn't demanding shit. your attempt to group everyone who disagrees with your exact misinterpretation of what happened with the extremist is very telling. You have a religious obedience to your political party.Very few were demanding due process be skipped. I'm not saying they were right about there being election fraud, and I'm not saying lesser crimes were not committed, but it was not treason.

Well, I still never said anything about Pence overriding anything. For awhile I was convinced that if an investigation was done, they would find proof of fraud. And even then I agreed it probably wouldn't be enough to change the result of the election.

The Senate and the House must vote to accept the tallies reported from each State. This wasn't the FIRST TIME that OBJECTIONS were raised as to the legitimacy of reported elections results for the Presidency (2000, 2016 - [cough cough]).

Ironically - the stage managed and agent provocateur led PSYOP 'Riot' - was what prevented several Senators from registering their apparently proper objections, and then calling for debate and inquiry, into the legitimacy of the tallies reported. And it wasn't the first time people had suggested that Electoral Collegians should follow their own consciences.

In any event - if an election is contested, and there's no clear winner - it gets thrown to the House of Representatives, at that time, in Democratic Party hands... So this was more about attempts to criminalize dissent, invoke Martial Law/Emergency Powers and unconstitutional censorship, using Government agents. The plans for a New Patriot Act were laid out in the Spring of 2020 by Congress, in collusion with elements of the DHS and FBI.
Rep. Cory Bush put forward her resolution to Censure or Remove several Pro-Trump Congressmen - on January 5th. Nancy Pelosi gad included budgeting for repairs and 'Security Upgrades' to the Capitol - prior to the events of January 6th, as well.

You keep pretending that I'm a Trump supporter. I'm not. I support HONEST Government and Election Integrity. We can't say for certain what the Electoral College was following. As in 2016 - there were pressures brought to bear upon them by both sides - and unlike 2016, several States had passed "faithless Electors" statutes (which have yet to be tested for lawfulness).

https://21stcenturywire.com/2020/09/20/democrat-led-transition-integrity-project-plan-for-post-election-chaos/

"Hillary Clinton Tells Joe Biden Not To Accept The Election Results If ..."
https://www.cnn.com/2019/09/17/politics/hillary-clinton-defense-of-democracy-speech/index.html

The early AM vote flips in key States, were highly suspicious. When most people went to sleep - Trump was the clear victor. By dawn the next morning we were told of a Biden 'miracle' - which could never be questioned, without people getting their social media accounts suspended, and their posts suppressed or removed. And it all looks to have been part of the DNCIA/Clintonite plan. Win or lose - lie cheat or steal - the REAL STATE - wasn't going to let Trump win.

We now know that the FBI censored the oldest Newspaper in the country - for printing a TRUE STORY, about Hunter's dirty laptop. That's a laptop chock full of crimes, and evidence proving that Joe had LIED to the American people repeatedly - about his connections to Hunter's crooked dealings in Ukraine and China.

https://www.deseret.com/2022/12/2/23490521/elon-musk-twitter-hunter-biden-laptop-censor-taibbi-reports

THE FIX WAS IN.

Personally - I had no dogs in that fight. I wrote-in Jesse Ventura and Cynthia McKinney. And I couldn't tell which evil was the lesser.

As USUAL @antithesis is LYING (that's what FAKE LEFTIST SPIES do, for corrupt Imperialist-warmonger Democrats - what ACTUAL Leftist, and longtime Peace Activist Cindy Shehan calls "Garbage People") and HAS a 'BlueDog' Democrat in this fight. In fact LOTS of votes were proven fraudulent - which is WHY - the narrative has shifted, from "there's NO EVIDENCE", to "there's NOT ENOUGH EVIDENCE, to have changed the results".

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/11/04/chairman-of-ga-gop-fulton-county-told-observers-to-leave-continued-to-count-ballots-in-secret/

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/12/03/video-georgia-vote-counters-suitcases-ballots-table-observers-media-leave/

Now it IS true that CIA DISINFORMATIONAL "Fact Checking" sites dispute this version of events - but these are sites which are KNOWN, PROVEN LIARS. The same sites all called the story about Hunter's laptop "Russian Disinformation" - while failing to acknowledge and report that the FBI had had the actual laptop for at least 1 year, prior to the story emerging, and knew that it was legitimate. The same sites either ignore the report of the IPCW's Fact Finding Mission to Douma/"IPCW Whistleblowers", and continue to fraudulently report as true a "Chemical Attack" in Douma, by the Syrian Arab Army - or they just don't mention the story.

One "Fact-Checker" "Snopes" - writes THIS about Seymour Hersh's brave and accurate reporting about the terrorist warcriminal attack of Biden Gang's, against the Nordstream Pipelines:

"This story, when deconstructed, is merely a pile of purported second-hand information allegedly collected by someone connected in some unknown way to deliberations of a highly secret, multi-agency task force. Such a story falls prey to the same criticisms of other more recent work published by Hersh, which has relied on similarly questionable anonymous sources." - one the stories they are criticising in a collateral fashion - is the IPCW Whistleblower/Fake Douma "Chemical attack", produced by the Syrian Al Qaeda affiliates/ISIS, and "The White Helmets" - their propaganda arm. They don't even go to the trouble to offer the same kind of critique, about that laughable and disproven story. In the case of the Nordstream Pipelines story, they cite as an allegedly 'credible sources' "Business Insider" and an entity using the name Mia Jankowicz (relationship to DHS, unclear) "Claim by a Discredited Journalist ... Is Proving a Gift to Putin." and Reuters.

You OBVIOUSLY had a dog in the fight, otherwise you wouldn't still be sore about the fact that not one single vote was EVER proven fraudulent, let alone the millions that would be needed to actually sway the election.

And that's not even taking into account, the addition of mass distributed, untraceable, unauditable mail-in ballots - printed without any unique identifiers or numbering - justified under the fear of the PLANDEMIC - and instituted under Emergency Powers with little debate.

In the most recent election, it's reported that Los Angeles was sent 50,000 more ballots, than it has Registered Voters. The Secretary of State's office refused comment.

The courts have commented. Lack of evidence, case dismissed. Out of 50,000 ballots you have not had a single one struck down.
1 up, 2y,

Courts are only as good as the evidence that unbiased judges have allowed to be presented. Courts get things wrong all the time if higher courts refuse to entertain an appeal - you're stuck with bad law and bad rulings, as we tend to be here in the USA.

DID YOU EVEN LOOK at the link I provided you? You can never get access to the evidence - because the courts sustain the claims of "proprietary trade secrets" made by the systems' manufacturers. This is absurd. The one recent instance where a REAL audit was allowed (Maricopa County, Arizona) - serious irregularities and cheating were found to be in evidence.

There wasn't a case brought about the ~50k extra ballots sent to LA County...that was a press inquiry, by someone who did the math.

Well don't worry, the president who appointed such biased judges lost the election and has been replaced. What more do you want?
1 up, 2y,

You're making assumptions about which President appointed which Judges. And you're ignoring the stunning self-reversal in Georgia - where a court ordered the systems data and logs from Nov. 2020 preserved, in order for more evidence to be collected and examined - only to rescind the order shortly afterwards. Things like this speak to blatant criminality, which our courts are sadly implicated in, as well.

The fish rots from the head. Any semblance of impartiality and propriety in our courts was dispelled by that most irresponsible and irregular ruling, handed down in Bush v. Gore. From that point forward, it seems that our courts have been transparent in their political and ultra vires nature, in regards to elections. They seem to be less interested in protecting the will of the voters, than those who maliciously and deliberately thwart it. The system cheats in unison. One need look no further than the case that Tim Canova brought against Brenda Snipes in 2016. The court found that she'd deliberately destroyed the ballot evidence, in violation of both State and Federal laws. But seemingly because the plaintiff was a progressive outsider - going up against a corrupt, Clintonite, NeoCon (some redundancy here) apparatchik in Debbie Wasserman Shultz - no investigation was ever launched, no charges were ever brought.

I'm really not. Look it up. Several of those judges were appointed by the exact president trying to argue that the election should have been in his favor. You can't get a fairer shake than that AND HE STILL LOST THE CASE!
1 up, 2y,
2 replies
Judges don't owe allegiance to the guy who appoints them. They can be bought, or pressured, enticed with advancement up the ladder. Trump doesn't know anything about Judges. He picked names off of a list from the Federalist society, in consultation with McConnell and other GOP Senators. I don't believe that in every case the Judges were Trump appointees - but even if they were, that's not really relevant.

I was watching those cases. The courts REFUSED to allow discovery, or look at evidence. The one court that DID allow for the mere preservation of evidence, appears to have gotten a talking to by someone - and then reversed its own order. That's MOST irregular.
1 up, 2y
@antithesis has it half correct, as usual - meaning his statement reads as "False". Trump is no longer the President - but there's no way to certify the accuracy and security of ANY US election - which is why the Jimmy Carter center doesn't even try. You can say accurately that Trump has been REPORTED to have lost that election - but substantiating and auditing those reports is essentially impossible.

https://blackboxvoting.org/proof-of-fraud/

And that ^^^^ was written before the time if mass printed, mass distributed, Vote-by-mail ballots, authorized using "Emergency Powers" - with the Covid Plandemic as the excuse.
