Its the normal cycle, everyone pulls out of investments during the holidays. If you look at historical data and add in the economic slump, and inflation, it looks about right to be just a normal yearly downturn for crypto.

I'll just be glad when all the investors get out of it and we have people that actually want to use it start adapting crypto to new technologies like an open web.

Inflation affects the economic slump, but we've been in one since Biden shut down the pipelines and drilling and the cost of gas has caused the prices of delivered goods to skyrocket. This was before they printed money like mad and caused the inflation.
What most people don't know is they can take money out of circulation to balance out the inflation, but they are choosing not to do it.
