Looting takes many forms, shooting someone carrying food and someone carrying a TV are different things. The hard truth is criminals do not care who the hurt and should be put down hard in situations like this.
It was a 'bait' question. If the USA is by the people, for the people, you are the law.
Of course, if the state allowed you to retaliate against those who steal from you, they would be in grave danger.
I interpreted your comment as Bluessol did but since I am familiar with your conservative political outlook, I knew it was satirical in nature. Your comments used to be very targeted and now you have changed your style, bear. I think you have become exasperated (as we all have) at the absolute mental illness & even pure insanity from the left. I still "get you" but others may miss the satirical/sarcastic change. Fair assessment or not?
Thanks
I'm trying to work on being less blunt and pose simple questions. I've heard some people say some pretty far fetched things, but by keeping an open mind, it's really changed the view from my Overton window. Ron Paul and Lew Rockwell definitely provide some interesting ideas and topics.
You are definitely a Libertarian. I like Ron & Rand Paul (love Rand's stance on the Covid jabs and fortitude against Fauci) and like Lew Rockwell. I have always respected Libertarians and found them to be good people. I think the only time I find fault with them is when they 'straddle the fence'. That may show more tolerance (I emphasize that I am aware of this possibility) but I find it troublesome at times as I see things so clearly on the right. It is just the way I am and I will be the first to admit it. So, that may or may not be good but it is what it is and to me, the
middle-of-the-roaders frequently become "roadkill".
You are allowed to defend your life and property. In a community sense you are allowed to make “citizen”arrests. Thus every citizen is allowed to act against those who steal or attempt to steal from you or the community. The use of deadly force is limited but your storm damaged home is still your home and in Florida the Castle doctrine applies.
