What you posted were examples of political protests. The headlines even state that.

What happened on Jan 6th wasn't a political protest. It was an insurrection.

The people protesting Trump's election didn't...what? Work through it.

They didn't storm the capital building.

They didn't try to stop the functions of government.

They didn't try to stop Trump from taking office by use of force.

Which is exactly what happened on Jan 6th.

The fact you think mentioning the Civil War at all is enough to trigger Democrats into starting one, when it was started by rich land owners who who were for consolidating power through privatization in a government who no longer wished to take their money shows not only a deep misunderstanding of the Civil War but reveals you’re a-okay with starting one yourself.

Especially with that keyword you keep throwing around “hypocrite”

You’re basically saying it’s fine to start a civil war. It’s not okay if Democrats do it, and it validates your desire for one if they want one, but you’re clearly strawmaning that they do only to vindicate yourself.
