Nope. He pled the 5th because the FBI is known to fabricate evidence and bring Trumped up charges based on some inconsequential thing said. See General Flynn and Roger Stone trials. Pleading the 5th is only thing you can do now to avoid being persecuted.

Look up the requirement for a President to "de-classify" TOP SECRET documents.
Trump was never permitted to 'de-classify' Top Secret military information... EVER!
No other President in history has done it because... it's not allowed.
Then he locked them in a "closet"... in the basement at Mary-Largo

There are no requirements. The president literally is the executive branch. He can do anything that is listed in the constitution and he is the head of the military. You don't seem to understand the basics of the US constitution.

Convictions, trial, charges? Innocent until proven guilty. I know you lefties hate that and want to change it to guilty if we say so. The fact he said it doesn’t exonerate doesn’t mean he wouldn’t be, a film flam statement saying well he could be innocent or he could be guilty. Unless proven he is innocent regardless of your TDS.

That's why Trump's following is so strong. He has been the the only one with the balls to take on the deep state. Didn't do a great job due to his ego getting in the way, but he has inspired some others to follow his lead: DeSantis for example.

Party On - - Upvote for you! - So very true! What were the consequences of Lois Lerner going after Conservatives with the IRS? They made promises for repeal and replace of ObamaCare, but sat on their hands when they had the House, the Senate, and the Presidency. They sat on their hands when Trump wanted to build the wall, and he was only able to accomplish partial building fo the wall through executive action and redistribution of funds for National Defense. I am a Conservative, but I left the Republican party because their mission in life seemed to be for protecting the swamp.
