That's actually not the issue. A single person with admin privilege's can change votes. The votes don't have serial numbers so can be passed into the machines hundreds of times each. etc...etc...
I'm proud of the repubs for fixing the mail in voting issue, but there are about 100 other problems that need to be fixed to have a free and fair election.

Proprietary hardware does not know what it does internally, it can have back doors and allow data to be changed in real time, even though the votes each had a serial number and no one had access to the system.

The hardware that has been manufactured must know exactly all the components it has, it must be fully known, manufactured in a transparent way, and not have any that allow the manufacturer or another to observe, access or change the data it processes.

The voting machines are essentially just a computer. It's both hardware and software.

Exactly. That why it's neccesary a manual count, or full diagnosis transparency of hardware and software.

Voting via Dominion is like gaming online; there is going to be cheating with both via hacking.

True, I just got some documentation from a friend who resigned as a county Republican chairman when he found out about Republicans trying the same tactics in a local election, and refusing to come clean about it. Dirty politics only serve dirty politicians, not the people.

Agreed and much respect to your friend. For a republic to function correctly there must be confidence in its institutions. Unfortunately, it seems that both major parties are doing their best to undermine the country they wish to “lead”(control). Just my opinion.

Well if monkeypox forces us to go back to mail voting right before this election, things will be extremely out of hand. Like when have we heard of two pandemics in two years, much less on election years when they'll make cheating much easier... See, all it takes is two wins and they could F up the voting system so bad that we'll never even see a republican in office for eternity. But then again, that probably sounds like heaven to Democrats, so I'll be back to talk about this topic when it isn't.
