We get you need money, but why make features everyone begs for a paid privilege?

The features that require Imgflip Pro cost the site extra time/money to create, run and/or maintain.

One idea I've suggested before would be offering more options for Imgflip Pro, where users have more choices on what they want to pay for.

But still, most of the updates we've had lately mainly benefit pro users, and not us free users. Each update, we free users barely get anything, it doesn't seem like an update to us

Users don't have to pay for Imgflip Pro. Pro is great for not having an imgflip.com watermark or for creating longer/bigger gifs.

On the other hand, if users want to add extra watermarks to a shorter/smaller gif, that's free!

I understand that you need money. I don’t usually say this, but maybe you could add more ads, then lessen the price of pro accordingly.

One of the reasons I say this is because a user speculates that adding spacing to GIFs will be a pro exclusive.

the conundrum imgflip is in, is that its a website made by ppl who need money, and full of teenagers who probably dont have a bank account

If you were here a little longer than a month, you would have seen the changes, improvements, new features (most underutilized), etc that have appeared here. For free.
The latest is access to a gazillion fonts, again, underused.

Go to any other site, and see what options there are, or rather, simply aren't.
The site is free and far better than others. People work hard to privide it, many are doing it for free.
Enjoy it and be thankful.

I don't actually care if they add more stuff actually, the sites fine with the feature it has now and the community will keep it alive without updates

Site doesn't run for free. Be thankful for the features that are, even though you are only aware of the really few that aren't.

Yeah why not hire advertisers? I'm sure people would like to apply. There's even a stream about fan-made ads.
