You're more likely to die due to an accident than a firearm. Also, health reasons are the highest leading death cause in the US(strokes, heart attacks, etc) as opposed to big bad firearms.
Furthermore, 2020 had a total of 45,222 firearm-related deaths.
-19,384 were the result of homicide.
-24,292 were the result of suicide.
Also before someone says math is off. I am going by https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/injury.htm various statistics and yea, there are a little over a thousand that are questionable after adding the two.
Considering the millions of people living in the USA and MILLIONS that have firearms, if firearms were such a dangerous thing we would see much higher numbers.
