There are crappy governments across the spectrum. Dictatorships USUALLY don’t fare as well for the regular people. Venezuela is one of these situations. See also North Korea…. To a degree, Russia as well. Forget socialist/communists vs “capitalist” because there are no absolutes.
Look at the countries with the highest quality of life for its regular people. What are THEY doing? Whatever THAT is…. Should be emulated.
